Alec and Paul are dueling with a twist: we each have only 1 Life Point! We also brought a variety of different Yu-Gi-Oh decks to play with and the first person to get to 5 wins is the victor! If you win a duel, you have to switch decks!

I’ve never heard of most of these decks. Snake eyes looked cool, and it’s it pronounced Generator or Gene-raider

@@Knytewish Snake-Eyes actually plays pretty cool too, they're all about turning monsters into continuous spells, they can also search Kurikara Divincarnate- but their gameplan, while not the strongest, is actually really fun And I, as well as most people I play Yugioh with say Generator, but I have heard someone say it Gene-raider and it confused me, I'll admit About the actual video though, this is a really fun duel style! No random catches or clauses, just decks thrown into a totally different format. Though I'd love to see something like this but you guys make your own decks and it's like, 2000 LP instead, maybe 2001 so there can potentially be more 1 LP moments. Make 3 or 4 decks, and switch between them randomly, have like, Trickstar, Nurse Burn, Red Eyes, Swordsoul, Generic burn, and tech cards can be included too, like Preformage Damage Juggler or Flame Eater- and other things like that. It was an event in Master Duel for a while, 2024 LP, and while a lot of people hated it, I honestly enjoyed it, cause I started with nurse burn, but eventually added tech cards to avoid dying if I was going second. It actually ended up pretty fun and even after I got all the rewards, I played it several more times.

So I don't know if I'm crazy or not but, if you listen to the music choices, they literally will tell you who wins each round. For example, plunder patrol played more of a jig and won. Dogmatica had like evil Gregorian music

That was a epic set of Duels! Quick, but tactical and very edge-of-your-seat action! Loved every second of it! Also the idea to have both players bring deck selections rather than one deck with multiple burns or unga bungas was a good idea.

Oh Paul going by what you seem to like I suggest using Traptrix with a Rikka engine (I call it RikkaTrix for short) I use mine and am able to beat top decks like Scareclaw, rescue ace and fire kings (yes the expensive version with the diabellstar engine) it is complicated to use though

@@calebsmith7179 personally I use 1 petal, 1 princess, 1 teardrop, 2 konkon (I still have 1 garden for the traptrix) 3 glamour and 2 sheet (though a lot of people use 1) as well as 1 strenna (though 2 isn't bad as she is generic and can recycle your plant traptrix) 1 Snowdrop and 1 hyperyron in the extra deck. You can use another petal and/or princess, but up to you and how your play style is. Oh and definitely at least 1 aromaseraphy jasmine. I am staying more on the traptrix side but if you want more Rikka, 1 flurries isn't bad to add in and I like having 2 lonefires to help get into either engine

That was really fun! The problem for me with the modern decks is the endless searching and duels take forvever. Having just the 1LP makes it a life or death run. I'd love to see this again but with indirect damaged completely banned, so you've got to swing over at least one monster (or a direct attack)

Start with negative Life Points and you have 5 turns or something to get into the positive. Damage always applies, if it’s before the turn limit to get into the positive then it’s just that much more the player has to gain

That final game was too funny. Alex was at 4-1 lead, Paul slowly creeps to a tie and Alec takes himself out - that “NO” sounded so heartbroken. Paul knew he won and chose to do in style with that slow reveal.

My first thought to a challenge like this was gimmicky piercing damage deck where I just load up on monsters that can inflict piercing and spells that control the position of my opponent's monsters. Also, nothing in the rules against life point *gain* cards. *Aroma tier 0 status when* lol
