In the last days of Fusion fest, I tried Metalfoes and this deck is the reason why I am interested in Pendulum summons. And I was looking at a lot of Metalfoes and Pendulum videos, until I found Trif Channel. Coincidentally, the night after I found Triff, he appeared on Farfa channel, and today I saw him again here. . Sadly, some of Magician Pendulum monsters in the video are currently still banned, limited, or semi-limited on Master Duel. Btw, I am still more interested in Metalfoes. I hope he makes a video about it again.

Brat, I was the biggest pendulum hater because I did not understand how it works and the reason was because I did not play or got interest in Yugioh when it came out. I started having interest again after 10 years in 2019-2020 and hated the pendulums again, but after I saw you and the combos you make, I tried it in Master Duel and now it is one of my favourite decks! I am legitimately curious about how you can counter anti-spell and D-barrier going second without side decking. I haven't test it yet, but with that main deck and extra I'm guessing using purple poison to get destroyed by battle and destroy the anti-spell and after that find a way to clear the opponent's board for the next turn.

It's needed for the scythe lock combo. Dagda places Scythe on the field so you can pop it on your opponent's turn with T.G. Wonder Magician or Tornado Dragon.

So I was playing master duel yesterday and I managed to beat drytron with an underpowered variant of adamatia. Stuff like this is why I still like the deck.

I tried several times to make pendulums work... the problem with pendulums is they are too slow and too easily destroyed, banished and negated... I only keep the Z-Arc Engine in my Tearlaments deck because there's a very low probability that I can summon Z-Arc by sending cards to the graveyard - the only way it's physically possible is to use card like: "Card Destruction", "Allure of Darkness" and Tear effects to essentially dump monsters into the graveyard. As long as my magicians hit GY and I draw into Astrograph: I can fusion summon from the GY or hand (depending on what is drawn) and it can come out: otherwise, it's impossible to summon that guy. I just have fun with Dark Paladin and watch my opponent sweat when they see dragons. Don't get me wrong: Beyond is great IF you have the pendulums in the zones: otherwise it's just another monster you can use to XYZ something. Only pendulums worth playing are D/D and Labyrinth by the looks of the Meta.
