Hi, I didn't see the message until now. It's simply just quick and easy monster removal. Opponent summons a monster that isn't stardust dragon or absolute zero, you can just get rid of it with any 1 normal summon then if that normal summon is airbellum or cat your attacks get you big advantage. It's probably not what you expect to hear but it really is as simple as that. Card has several downsides but I was lucky enough this event that they resolved with no issue every time I played them. Another upside is that you can pop your own cards meaning I could shut off my own level limit area b when I wanted to, which I otherwise could not barring heavy storm/mst. This is also a downside of course since if they choose to remove their own card(s) first in response to saber slash, I HAVE to pop my own card(s). The fact that it doesn't target came up since it allowed it to clear Thought Ruler Archfiend, which some other removal cards may struggle with. I also remember using it to force away stardust one time so I could attack another threat safely with catastor and another time to attack with airbellums directly. This can hardly be called an upside but yeah I distinctly remember "forcing stardust off the field, even if just temporarily" as a situation where this helped swing the game in my favor. So there's that. The reason people don't play it is because it's so easy to play around or backfire on the user, I was just lucky that I drew it in scenarios where it didn't happen and that each activation worked out how I wanted it to. It's a high risk high reward card but I concede that the risk of running it is probably larger than the reward. Even though it worked out for me this time, playing 3 book of moons instead is almost certainly smarter. Though I might just decide to keep them in the deck forever considering how much they've done for me so far. If you find the choice of playing it interesting, I absolutely do encourage others to at least experiment with Saber Slash since even though I acknowledge the downsides, I believe the card may be slightly underrated. (Also as the deck profile implies I am not at all experienced with the deck or Edison in general so I apologize for my lack of deeper insight. There may be several more upsides and downsides that I didn't list or am not aware of)
