Don't believe you had raigeki breaks in the main for the deck list video itself. Could be wrong it's 5am I'm sleep deprived. I love the list tho lol

I prefer Trap Stun in this deck against those trap heavy decks, because I already play quite a few traps in the main deck which I don't always side out. Going 2nd Decree is a bit better since I'm more okay with taking out traps like Mirror Force at that point, in this duel Decree worked fine but Trap Stun would have accomplished pretty much the same thing. We recorded this during the day and I underestimated the impact natural light would have on the glare. I still wanted to get this up because I felt g2/3 in particular showcased good gameplay. I darkened it during editing so you should still be able to make out most of the boardstate. It'll be fixed for future episodes.

I didn’t want mind and brain control with 3 armory 1 mark already in the main deck, brain is a card you can brick on as it needs a pair and when you have a tytannial already on the field there is little brain control does there, which is the point of the deck to always have tytannial to control the board. I wouldn't play wall of thorn because Gravirose is not the main part of the deck. It's there as an additional starter in the clunky hands of either tytannial and/or amaryllis to get you out of the early game and having a worse mirror force was not something I wanted to play in my deck.

Welcome to Modern Yugioh, where you NEED that 18 handtraps or you won't get anything done at all compared to your opponent. And theb they will get mad at you for playong Rivalry, Gozen and Evenly.

@ i suppose my comment was somewhat venomous towards you when ultimately, my problem lies with yugioh itself. my preference is pure decks, running at most 3-6 "non engine" for funs sake. i apologize for focusing that ire onto you, that said, perhaps you could include a set of non-competitve or fun sideboard options in future. stuff that genuinely makes the deck more fun? ive been considering Ryzen-utopia. but thats me. sorry for placing that on you.

@@Artfullounger1 Nah mate, its okay. I also am mad with Yugioh nowadays, mostly becausr I cannot play the cards that I want and need to have several handtraps just to be playable with other decks. Not better, not competing, just playable. Tbh Gozen isn't really good as a floodgate when most archetype just has the same elemental/attributes anyway. I think those that has different attributes were very few (The one that comes to my mind were Mathmech, Sword Soul and HEROES)

Handtraps are just new age trap cards. Cards like effect veiler and infinite impermanence and peak interaction.

Aside from making stardust with dandy and one of its tokens it's not a great card in this deck. While you can make blackrose you usually prefer to use your normal summon on cards that advance your gamestate, rarely do you face a situation where you have the appropriate target in grave and your opponent has a big enough field that you need to black rose so the Debris often ended up being stuck in the hand and it's not a starter unlike Gravi, Lonefire, Trooper or Valley.

If I were to exchange them for 3 other non engine it would probably be the 3 Bystials, they are quite good at the local/regional events.

You can quite easily deal with problem cards and push for game with the Maliss engine, but Accesscode is certainly a card you can include!

It's not bad, but I didn't want to play Sigma, Dotscaper and Code of Soul. And I felt the 2 aforementioned are more versatile, but Code could be an inclusion!

I chose to not play Gold Sarc or Allure because of the prevalence of Artifact Lancea post side, meaning I would want to side them out to not lose to a shotgunned Lancea.

I think you need to have enough names in the deck. Perhaps if you cut 1 of the traps you can slim down on Chessy as it's the worst of the names. But the deck isn’t exactly filled with engine cards so it might lead to too weak hands.

Its 1900 ATK is enough to survive turn 1 against most decks, coupled with the fact you have 3 raigeki break and 1 mirror force or the option to bluff a backrow should deter most opponents from overcomitting a synchro summon into it. If your blackwing opponent has specifically Sirocco, to attack over it without wasting a kalut, then they have it.

I also used to dislike Amaryllis, but with the inclusion of Cyber Valley it feels like a totally different deck! Not at all like the variance filled brickfest it used to be.

The deck runs Mark of the Rose, which is essentially Brain Control. You also have 3 Hidden Armories to search for it. So adding Brain/Mind Control is a bit excessive.

@ i highly disagree, Brain con cant loose out to MST/Dust which post side will be sided against you for Fer/equips. Also always having a plant can be a issue at time thank for your opinion though.
