(Crimson Dragon never speaks tho). 2. Technically lost a duel and had doubts Kalin would have won if the duel concluded. (The duel officially ended with no result). 3. Technically has a dark side. The final villian designed himself to look like Yusei. He enacted a plan (in his mind) that will save the future like Yusei did with the Dark Signers. (The villian is just a random scientist who got surgery to look like Yusei). 4. Technically believes in his magical powers through his bond with the Crimson Dragon. (Those powers aren't within him just given to him by the Crimson Dragon).

Well Goodwin's dragon mark isn't his it's his brothers yet the dark signer condor sign is his. So he's merely manipulating light to be on his side. That's why he loses his dragon mark the Crimson dragon sees him as unworthy and chose another who is good of heart.

It wasn't Crow that was so popular. It was his monsters. Konami realized Blackwings would make them a lot of money from competitive players and that since the anime is just a glorified advertisment for the card game, then the guy who used them couldn't be a bad guy that would get beat. Thus Crow was changed from villain to hero, Leo got cheated out of his position as the 5th signer (though I do admit that making Life Stream Dragon a tuner made the duel against Z-ONE all the more epic and that might've played out a bit differently if it premiered as originally planned) and they shoved an alternate version of him into Arc V just to sell more Blackwings. They could have used an original character or literally any other character like Kalin for example, but they knew Blackwings were pretty much the deck most think about when it came to competitive during 5ds.

Irl it’s effect is different. You would Shuffle 3 cards on your field into the deck then your opponent discards 3 cards, then Rasca gains 3000 ATK

@@EdnaSpoonhands he means the cards he wrote still need to be added to the TCG and OCG as real cards that can be leagally played. But a lot of the cards from one of the animes are most of the time to good for real life yu-gi-oh! and need to be watered down, in a way where they don't make the game unplayable or a must play staple in any deck. Or they may have forgotten about a handful of these cards already.

@@EdnaSpoonhands POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3 OF 5DS LOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK OF BEING SPOILED!!! a good example would be the Timelord achetype from z-one where he could just activate most of his trap cards from his hand without any real reason. His monsters are mostly indestructible and have very overpowered effects, like for example, gabrion the Timelord can (after he attacks) wipe your whole field clean and shuffle any and all cards on your side of the field back into the deck without any downside. But the printed card states that, for every card that is shuffled back into your deck, you must draw a card, effectively giving you new combo pieces to start a new 30 minute summoning session. That might be a reason why they didn't print all the cards from the anime already. Another reason might be that the achetype, or character isn't popular enough for them to consider printing these cards.

This is why I love these characters. It’s tough to beat the original and GX does seem pretty good, but I think it’s an age thing. This one of the few times where we see a rival go through an arc. Jack goes from only caring about himself to actually putting others needs before his. Now, I personally don’t know if Jaden is a better protagonist than Yusei because Jaden isn’t perfect; he actually loses, he’s a slacker, he’s not very well mannered, but he does believe in his deck and himself despite his rank or level. But to me that’s why Yusei has a better personality. He has confidence, he evolves more into a man more than Jaden does, and Yusei puts in the work like Yugi does. So it’s a toss up, but who do y’all think is better?
