Awesome as always man. I liked the crusadia tuner monster and the new synchro quantum monster, I'll try them, just have to wait for the new sea serpent tuner monster too. And my personal choice for the extra deck I play the xyz true king monster with abyssmander on the deck, instead of the crystron synchro. Keep the good work!! 👍

I liked the list a lot tbh. I used it as a template to make a list of my own, I have my own personal techs that I like, but Mermail is a very customizable deck I think. I always like Gunde at 2, that’s an unpopular opinion sometimes but I find 2 to be the perfect number I also run the Frog Engine (3 swap 1 ronin 2 toadally awesome) instead of some of the spell cards. Just getting that additional negate on board can be amazing. Can’t wait to see what the new age of mermails bring, got so sick of tomahawk spam, though Mare Mare is a good link engine in its own right.

What spells would you cut?

mick romney mick romney I didn’t just cut spells tbh, I cut the reborn, the one for one, the birdman, and the instant fusions. I generally don’t like unsearchable ofs, one for one is great but it is a -1 in card advantage, reborn can be situational, I cut the instant fusions cause I wanted ED space for the Toads, and I find Birdman to be very situational. And then I splashed in an extra Gunde and the 4 card frog engine. Now, that Arboria tech he has is a great idea, sea archiver too but Arboria is easier to get on field on her own.

Here is an option I was considering adding to the build for a decent first turn play. Adding in abyssmander and playing 41 cards and cutting leo for a true king of all calamities

White Aura Bihamut is legal now! I would 100% recomend you playing it over Leo! Its insanely broken! Its only 10 dollars on tcg player. Please test it and you will love it since you have a synchro build!

Borrelsword isn't needed level 8 synchros aren't optimal in here especially ones that require links in my grave to be useful and borreload I'm not sure on might play it going forward, might play a saryuja

I've moved to this variant and I've yet to have any success with it. Hands all brick, open with Mare Mare and Destrudo with no enablers, open double Aqua Spirit and Gunde with Scale and Called By. It just feels mediorce... I don't know if it's my shuffling, but the build just doesn't come together for me. Do you have any suggestions? Maybe adding in a Nimble engine or Frogs? Genex Engine for cleaner openers, at the expense of Link Spider in the Extra Deck? I'm really just at a loss at what to do. Thanks for any feedback.

I mean sounds like bad luck to me. Either way adding in the nimble engine and undine engine is only going to add more bricks to your hand. At the end of the day if you can't get to a prince or dragoons your plays aren't going to be phenomenal. Ive also been testing a new build using sekkas light and have been having success with it. I've added the frog engine into as well hey that's the only engine I'm willing to use. If you're in discord you can see the deck list for it in the deck ideas channel

I stand by your build whole heatedly. I like it so much more than other builds. I hate the undine engine. Don't know why people went back to that engine. Controller is the worst card in the world to draw.

Wait I think I have it. Diva into prince then send goons add goons and lapis special lapis the make brio the synchro brio and diva into crystal wing. Didn't realize that I'll take that into consideration going forward

@@WinterKillz yes, it's a crazy Como in my opinion. You end with Gaios + mezuchi, Mistarboy, sometimes a Moulinglacia and a Crystal wing. I adore your content and the way you express yourself. Due to your mermail deck profiles I found the love for this deck again, and it's much more powerful than many players might think. Keep up the work!

I think this list is solid. It's unorthodox, but it looks interesting, I also think the destrudos add a different dimension to the ceiling/combo capacity.
