It cant compete against guardragons, strikers and thd without belle, impermanence, debug and calleds it is at best a rogue deck without the expensive staples and adding jackalope and tsuchinoko brings this deck to the next level so you will see that in the higher tables. You will have 2 types of salamangreat decks, the mediocre ones without good staples and the good ones with those staples.

I have been using Bufferlo recently to try and find an interesting way to gain more advantage. It works for these reasons: -It’s a Level 3, for the Xyz -It’s a FIRE monster -It can go into the Link 1 -It discards a Cyberse (like Spinny) for setup and then draws you 2 cards. It’s only my personal choice, and it can interfere with the Link 1’s search effect, if you draw the Santuary, but I just wanted to let you know.

No, no it wouldn't hurt the consistency, you should play about 13 specific cards in the extra deck (3 wolf 2 leo 2 lynx 2 stallio 2 chimera 1 jammer 1 transcode) then the other two slots are up to player preference, I play Spartoi and Flame Administrator, it gives you a way to actually reliably trigger the effect and if you draw it it's fine because you can make Chimera anyway and the deck only needs 1-3 cards to pop off.

The Four Star Gamer Spartoi takes 2 cards to make to search out a single card when you could just make sunlight wolf and gain advantage while also getting fusion of fire. Spartoi is absolutely useless.

In the anime episode 89 they showed a lot of new spells including a pot of avarice for salamangreats but you need to have fewer LP than your opponent

the "have lower LP than your opponent" is the effect of a spell card which we dont know when will it be released, the "pot of avarice" part is the effect of salamangreat mole.

so I just bought almost every item to get this deck ready to compete, but that sunlight wolf is a 10 dollar card and I don't wanna basically bust out almost 100 for a deck unless it can be a tournament deck.
