To be fair, even though this was an unsatisfying end for Hand Control, infernities have gotten screwed by tengu plants for like the last three cross banlist cups so maybe this is their time to shine.

If this was an actual real-life event, there would definitely be a serious rivalry developing between Tengu Plant and Infernity. Just think- heavily-favored Infernity is upset by Tengu Plant in the first CBT, then in the rematch in the Cup Tengu Plant knocks out Infernity again, then in the second Cup Infernity loses once again but gets the last laugh by eliminating Tengu Plant in the final set. It's like Yugi vs. Kaiba(ok, maybe not THAT far. Jaden vs. Chazz, we'll say).

I think we all saw this coming, Pre-Duelist Genesis decks other than full power GBs, Full Power DAD-Return, or Chaos/Yata are almost always going to be at a clear disadvantage against Decks that came after Duelist Genesis due to the efficiency jump that occurred at that time.

Infernities were never afraid of losing their hand at all and were always a step ahead against Hand Control. Imperial Order did in fact stole game 2 like nothing showing how this card will never see the light of day ever again. Infernities has ways of recovering after a crippled hand due to their monster effects and launchers, while Hand Control had a rough time being able to recover after being trished multiple of times. The broken clutch cards weren't enough to carry Hand Control onto the next round. 35% Hand Control vs 65% Infernities.

Yeah that's been the concept he's been rolling with for a good couple years now and Lithium always manages to successfully reinvent his content with the Cross-Ban List duels and cups every time that I'm absolutely having a blast watching them and have to get hyped when I see a new one in the sub box.

+lass961 is easy if you and your friends know how to play. make the tournament (deck lists and what so not), then put it on your computers and duel. if you wanna do it in real life but don't have the cards, you can: 1 put cards you have and have a list on your side saying which card represents which and 2 if you have enough sleeves, put paper inside them with the name and effect of the card

these are all pretty powerful decks, so it's no surprise they'd be a bit shorter than usual. most of the remaining decks are here because of how quickly and suddenly they can end the duel out of nowhere.

I'm definitely rooting for Infernity. I quit playing around the Infernity was at full power and it seems so good I've been trying to play with the remains of the deck and it seems very skillful. I don't know if it's just because of how hard it got hit but these duels in the cross banlist cup look like Infernity's were still an skillful deck.

he had imperial order active, and he had already paid the life to keep it active so he was boned, lol. he also probably didn't want to risk the opponent drawing into launcher or something and going full ham uncontested, since it's pretty easy to play around one backrow. it was kind of a lose/lose situation honestly. :/

FeanixFlamage well he knew that he is fucked up if the opponent didn't draw a monster next turn. So i don't know if that imperial order would be the best pick. You see how it helped him... I would definitly take that risk... and i think he can get "only" to level 8 without necromancer... so he had to make scrap dragon to destroy that snatch steal, so it doesn't matter so much, but it would be a little bit harder for the infernity player...

lithium mentions that, but then points out that it still wouldn't have mattered since he had mirage in hand. he could bring back necromancer and beetle, get two more beetle, summon archfiend, get launcher and go full ham regardless of whether he went for jinzo or destroyed imperial order and used snatch steal on necromancer. even if he stole necromancer, infernity could use mirage, bring back archfiend and beetle, search launcher and summoner two more beetle, make goyo and swing over jinzo or necromancer. if he steals jinzo, he pretty much retains control of the game since the set mirror force becomes useless, not to mention he could use his second beetle to synchro with jinzo or goyo and make either stardust or scrap dragon and pop the snatch steal, get back necromancer and bring back archfiend for another launcher and set up such a huge field it would be impossible to come back from. it's literally lose lose no matter how he plays it.

FeanixFlamage well, it is still the best play for hand controll to snatch the necromancer and hope for the best... like an other monster in the hand of infernity ;) with a spell/trap he would be dad doesn't matter what he does. But with a monster, he haven't any chances with the play hand controll did in the video.
