It's pretty funny, because I think the first dinomorphia top 8s happened in the same weekend. Myself being second at Tulsa, and someone else got 6th in Ohio. It really showed up last weekend. Also someone got 16th with it too.

Masquerade is our only weakness when we get too low because it's not an activated effect so we have to be careful when it's on board Masquerade's effect that makes you pay 600LP is not treated as a cost to activate the card, and is paid BEFORE any actual costs printed on the card itself. Hence why if we activate skill drain we pay 600 because of masquerade then 1000 cost for skill drain unless we have stealth then we only pay 600 which does shut down masquerade. It's like a pre cost thing

Agree with your pot ratios. I use the same ratios for my build and think it's the correct one. The only main differences is that I use Lilith as a tech option over fossil dig. Fossil dig in the early game is great to get to Therizia, but mid to late game, it kind of sucks in the top deck war (This will happen a lot with this deck) if all your main deck monsters are out of your deck and in rotation, making fossil dig dead. Lilith, while losing to super poly and competing with the normal summon, does bypass fossil dig downside and becomes a good top deck card, while also bypassing Veiler and Imperm (which therizia is weak too) and setting up your dinomorphia traps, mainly frenzy or domain if you open one or the other. She does have the versatility to set any other normal trap in case you already opened frenzy and/or domain, so you can set Ferret Flames, Torrentrial, Imperm, Ice Dragon's Prison, etc. Lilith I think is underrated, but like I said, she has flaws and might not be needed, but I do prefer her over fossil dig and does add consistency to this deck. If I went first and want to setup Frenzy without worrying too much about handtraps, I try to get to lilith asap. If not, the pot cards can help fetch it or frenzy/domain.

1 flaw you don't list and one of the main reasons I don't run her, is the fact that many dinomorphia traps require you to see a dinomorphia. Seeing therizia means my brute and sonics are live, and makes alert better with frenzy. It also has the potential to keep a level 4 dino on field, setting up for laggia on the next turn. But lillith is still a cool option.

I feel like Gamma would be amazing in this deck If the opponent ash frenzy its just game but with gamma you can protect it since most of the time if you go first you have no monsters also it can be used as an interruption if you go second so its pretty versatile

Hey congrats ! Quick question : why do you say stealthbergia helps a lot vs masquerade (around 33:40), as steathlbergia doesnt protect from the 600 hp cost masquerade forces you to play ?

So I mentioned this in the deck profile, but we asked the Head Judge before the event about stealthbergia vs masquerade. And the head judge ruled it that stealthbergia DOES protect you from masquerade. It's a very "ask your head judge" ruling. The other outs to despia include ferret flames, and ofc ash and imperm that can keep them off of masquerade. Lucky for me either way, stealthbergia vs masquerade didn't come up at this event, and stealthbergia was mostly assisting solemn strike. But yea, ask your head judge beforehand

@@TopTierGamingYGO You might be right, it's super juge dependent. In the Dinomorphia discord, the general ruling is that Stealthbergia doesnt protect from the masquerade cost. It is even mentionned on the Card Rulings:Dinomorphia Stealthbergia from yugipedia ! Anyway, it's a very interesting list not based on floodgates !

@@Thomas-dc1zr in the card ruling page of masquerade vs stealthbergia, it starts at 2600 LP vs masquerade, and then they pay 600... but bergia doesn't have that effect until 2000 LP anyway. So it's still very unclear even on the card ruling page. Either way, ask your head judge haha

Whereas if you were to activate rexterm, kentrigena effect to pay half, you'll have to pay the 600 then pay the half. Stealthbergia vs. Masquerade is pretty tricky but it's all in the wording of both cards.

We asked our head judge before the event and he gave the ruling that Stealthbergia would protect you from Masquerade. It won't be ruled like that at every event. but make sure you ask your head judge.

Good job bro! I can't really afford prosperity but I replace it with a third duality and 2 more fossil digs. I also don't like playing floodgates since I feel like they dont do much going 2nd so I only play summon limit as my only floodgate with anti spell in the side. Otherwise I prefer cards that a chainable and advance the game state. Wonder your thoughts on 2nd alert and 3rd sonic. 2nd alert to have an easier Avenue to play through super poly. 3rd sonic for higher chance to stop droplet, twister, reboot etc. Also the region I'm in is monke af and enjoy eldlich

isn't the focus on psychic end punisher, just a way to end games super fast? currently this deck basicly always loses in time (due to the health mechanic) but using the punisher, you can very quickly en the game

This deck rarely makes it to time in my experience. You either win extremely fast because you are putting giant beatsticks on the board while your opponent can't even play. Or you are losing very fast cause u put yourself so low and your opponent finds a way to break through. At this event I didn't get to time once, and only one game got close where we ended up in a grind.

Ferret flames is a top card in dinomorphia a loss game for panic and active early so loss the game and other thing i never know if you can bounce omni proteccion monster i lost few matchs when he summon tinkan with 3500 beating my rex few matchs i have flames set but i dont active think i cant bounce him now i learn i can bounce that onmi proteccion monster

Congrats to the 2nd place ! Have you considered playing "Gravedigger's Trap Hole" instead of "Solemn Strike" ?? This card hits the same amount of interactions and Decks like Strike (except SS), also you don't have the problem with the unequel LP and solves the Ash problem ...

If you consider just ash blossom, I woul say gravediggers is the better card. However, strike is sooooo much stronger than gravediggers, especially go second. Imagine your opponent has a baron or a savage, and you activate Frenzy with a set gravedigger. Well... frenzy isn't resolving. However... If it's Strike, then frenzy IS resolving and you probably win. Also, stealthbergia can help mitigate the cost of Strike, when it would be awkward because your life is too low.

Hi, I have been looking into this deck recently, what do you think about playing 2 alert for the predominance of spoly in the current format, and what about 2 trap trick? Lastly, if you were to cut sth, would you cut gozen or sth else?

2 alert is a little tough, cause it isn't inherently an amazing card by itself, which is why I played small ratios of the non fusion dinomorphia traps. Trap trick in theory is good, but I was too afraid of having to use it and shutting off my other traps and losing because of it. Gozen was just weird in this event because there was an odd dominance of salamangreat which was wild. I think if you are going to main any 1 floodgate right now it should still be gozen. It's good first or second which is sort of the goal of the entire deck and why we are not playing other picks like mistake or summon limit.

I am going to bring a deck profile just like this to my regionals this weekend and to Bologna on June 18-19 nationals, the only different thing Is that I am going to play with the ratios of prosp, duality and Fossil dig because i am not sure if anyone is gonna lend me prosperity these days. I am also on 3 summon limit instead of 3 gozen at the moment because I feel like this may help more than gozen, still not sure tho. Lastly I may play 2 alerts because I so scared of super poly. I'm pretty sure you still need to pay 600 life under Masquerade, even with Stealbergia on field. It's not a cost like paying life is, it's slightly different.

That is how it has been ruled at times by some. But it is important that with obscure rulings with no official answers to ASK THE HEAD JUDGE. We asked the Head Judge before the event started, and he said that he would rule it that under Stealthbergia you do NOT have to pay under masquerade. so very important to ask your head judge of the event before starting the tournament if you plan on playing this deck in a competitive environment.

@@TheMatt_SD The other ways to deal with masquerade are cards like ferret flames that can remove him from the board or hand traps to try and stop them from getting there. Also alpha and lava golem in the side can attempt to remove him as well. Both games I played against Despia and won, Stealthbergia was not there for masquerade, the interaction didnt come up. Bergia was good though, because I needed to activate a solemn strike to beat them haha. Its a hard card for the deck to deal with, but not impossible.

I believe I do. Like I said in the matchups, the reason I beat despia g1 round 7 was the ferret flames. And game 2 he didn't summon masquerade Round 9 I don't believe my opponent made masquerade one time against me either. It's just that in theory, on paper, the out to the "unwinnable" matchup that is despia, is stealthbergia. As long as the head judge rules it that way. What stealthbergia really helped me with in the despia matchups, was letting me activate solemn strike with no cost haha

Definitely a very underestimated Deck! I literally think that Dinomorphia is insane! Playing the right Trap cards can make this Deck unfair! Floating and destroying everything! I don’t think of Dinomorphia as a Rogue! It’s meta in my opinion! So versatile and resilient! Very strong The Deck just needs a very good pilot with a lot of Deck Building Skill! This is the right man for the job!

Great Profile. Congrats on topping! Strikes are imperative for Ash Blossom I even played 3 Crossout Designators because it got so bad for me haha. I wanted to ask have you ever considered playing Summon limit? It has literally no drawbacks for Dinomorphias and add that with all those Solemn Traps most opponent I play against scoop once I negate 1 summon unless they have Backrow hate. Its less versatile than other floodgates but I feel like it puts my opponents in the biggest bind paired up with Rex on the field.
