Honestly a tag force exclusive collection for the switch would be crazy, then we wouldn't need a reason for them to port the DS championship titles to the switch

@@polocatfan we don't know if they are going based on release year or not some of those console games came out the literal same day as some handhelds. Let's wait and see before we completely count it out. But I think it is a handheld games collection so far too.

The cards on the boxart of DM4 aren't the cards you get in those versions and you have to trade between them to get the ones you want. This may be spoilers but Simon is actually Solomon's ancestor and was the Vizier that served Atem in Ancient Egypt. There's also the Capsule Monster GB game that we didn't get over here in the West and I think that's likely to be in this collection as well. If you don't want to wait for it to drop, there's a full English fan translation out and I can say it was a fun game but rough around the edges with the possibility of missing your friends as ally monsters as well as your monsters can permanently die which will set you back a lot if you invested a lot of resources into them.

@@HammerHeadBubba That's a good memory, I think that was the first game we got that had the actual real rules of the card game. The pumpkin king of ghosts just line bones, that's cool.

I played a rom of DM1 and for somethings so rudimentary it's actually not bad. It's just very simple. Think of it as a very simple version of Dark Duel Stories.

@@outlineman1st717 I have some bad news then. Drops are screwy in DM1 as you have to duel some characters 30+ times just to get the best cards and that's not counting having to use passwords to get the Ritual monsters which aren't Rituals in this game and are treated as normal monsters. DM1 had no tributes, barely any traps & spells, and it was just slap a card down and hope it got the job done.

@@polocatfan That's what I'm assuming unfortunately, otherwise they would have shown a console game. Next reveal we should know for sure though. It being on the switch and pc, and not the ps5 and xbox is probably another sign that it is just handheld games.

If we don't at least get DDM or Forbidden Memories then we got some issues with Konami botching such a legacy set And please for the love of god they don't pull the same no save data backup like what they did to Link Evolution for the switch version

Remastering/improving the gameplay QOL would be nicer than just.. porting and localizing them and then charging $50. Oh well.

1-8 would be dumb. Most of these games are the same game are the same but with slightly new decks. 7 and 8 are where we actually get stories.i would hope we get other games. Honestly I'm skipping this collection

More importnantly forbidden memories and of course DoTR will be so hype if they put it in but I see this being like a game boy game compilation you right which is fine still awesome. I'm gonna wait for more details like a release date and the full game list before I pre-order. The screenshots look the same so we need at least 6 games here. Hopefully forbidden memories and duelist of roses make it. They follow that rule structure of duel monsters before 5 and after 6 anyway.
