They made some other stops: First was a detour to the Mist Valley where the met a giant but rude bird that would just interrupt whatever anyone is doing then flys away, but it wouldn’t stay away for long. Then there was that time they met a king that produced winds so strong they blew everyone away while the birds just laughed at their misfortune. Then there was that time where they stoped to admire a certain statue that hates everyone else but the birds, rumor has it it’s been stolen and has not been seen since.

I have a dumb story about floowanderereeze, at my local there a guy that almost always play floo so one day a guy showed up with a penguin plushie and gift it to him and he played the entire tournament with the plushie by is side (Also I got 2-0 by him that day)

Floowandereeze left such an impression on Master Duel that even when Barrier Statue of the Storm Winds was Banned, Players still scoop when they fail to negate Robina or any of the other card's summoning effects

Because it’s just annoying not being able to stop special NORMAL SUMMONS, which is what makes the deck unique. And it’s this lack of ingenuity and creativity in creating an archetype that annoys players because many archetypes are very weak because there’s no creativity.

These days with all the frustratingly unforgiving archetypes to play against (e.g. runick, Spright, etc…) I don’t think Floowandereeze is all that broken (relatively speaking), plus I love the art style. I love the unique art style when compared to most other archetypes. Also, this was a great video, i didn’t even notice the overarching story until now.

Another archetype with great lore is my og deck the six samurai Basically there was one warrior known as tenkabido shien who was so indomitable on the battlefield that it’s said his armor was stained red from the blood of his fallen enemies. He unified the land with the help of his Allies the first generation of six samurai warriors. Two of which were Mizuho and shinai who got married. Out of all of shiens followers shinai was the only one shien was afraid of due to his skills in combat. So to protect his status he lured shinai into an unwindable fight where he would fall. His spirit would go on to possess the armor he once wore so he could protect the others so they won’t suffer the same fate. Mizuho was so distraught about her lover dying she gave up her armor and joined a religious order becoming shiens right hand constantly mourning her beloved shinai. Unbeknownst to her her child was taken away and raised to become shiens body double, kagemusha of the six samurai. When kagemusha saw what tenkabido had become and learned of what happened to his father he told the others. After learning of his treachery they lured shien into a final confrontation where he’d fight one on one with the very body double he raised from a child. He would finally fall but it was decided kagemusha would take his place as the shadow of the six samurai shien. Shiens spirit was later bound to his own armor forced to serve the new generations of samurai warriors. And the people were none the wiser that shien had actually died and been replaced by his body double.

Despite the inevitable toxicity of expanding this archtype, it would be nice if they expand it to include the lands on the other side of the world. Maybe they meet a kookaburra in Austrailia, a crane in Asia (Japan), a tropical bird in Hawaii and ending up in North America where they get eaten by a hawk.

to be honest one way to support floo is giving them a Bagooska effect, forcing all special summoned monsters to summon in ATK position. and the new monarch will get a raiza someday but supporting that carries the risk of Eglen getting the limit

When barrier statue wasn't banned and it was used in every floowandereeze deck I got so sick of playing against them in master duel that I made a wind dragon deck made to basically destroy the meta decks of the time, including floowandereeze, and it worked, the only reason I didn't get platinum was because the season ended right after I made it and after that barrier statue was forbidden. Man I miss that deck but I'm so glad the I don't see them as much anymore, I'll take albaz over those tiny birds any day

6:49 You think that barrier wind statue was a problem (now being banned btw, the worst thing you could ever run into a flowander player is them having Mist Valley Apex Avian and Mist Valley Thuderbird. With with Apex having its effect once per chain, and thunderbirds effect not having a once per turn on it... if you dont stop them they basically stop from playing at all because Apex returns thunderbird to the hand and its effect triggers to special summon back to the field and the infinite negates continues, stoping you from doing anything. Why do i say this well because i ran into this on Master Duel. Its not fun at all if does two are on the field together with the help of union carrier.

Since every card effect needs to bw activated, with the opp. having Apex Avian and Thunderbird... they literaly stop you from playing at all because they domt have hard once per turns on them. Unless you have like skill drain or any card that stop Apex Avian... your literaly done there and then

Honestly, this archetype is what made my favorite rarity Super Rare. I built this deck mainly cuz it was cheap and the artwork is good. If you haven't seen a super rare Floo card irl, it's definitely worth it. It's also one of my favorite decks solely due to artwork, not my favorite to play, tho. I don't like turn ending floodgates, stuff like Empen isn't a turn ender, just annoying. Like Bagooska or Avramax. But probably less annoying sometimes.
