Not really how animation works, the time between when they animate anything and when the show actually airs is always considerably vast. Either they're saving a second version of the opening for later, or they got lazy plain and simple.

@@GamerJosh2611there are implications that the staffs are asked to make this third season at the very last minute, like near the end of Kuaidul arc, and by that I don't mean the production of the arc, but the _airing_ of the arc. So I won't be surprised if the actual opening scenes are still in production right now, hence why they reused so many old scenes here, and make use of existing static images as well (like the character montage during the "blue bird lookalike" part of the song).

@@StarblitzNova Oh it wouldn't surprise me if it was last-minute, but animation takes MONTHS AND MONTHS of time to do, even if corners are cut, and there are so many other steps to making a season, especially in an anime like Yugioh, where they've gotta get card art and script duels. Basically, no matter how last-minute it was, it doesn't quite excuse that much.

@@GamerJosh2611 MFW JJK S2 episodes were literally finished a DAY before they air (though they are a notable exception, but with how shoddy this op is I wouldn't be surprised if its a similar but less extreme situation, like instead of a proper 2-3 months before airing this only got 1 month)

@@thepronoob4039 JJK S2 was Mappa pushing their employees so far past the breaking point we really shouldn't be considering them in the slightest. Still, I won't discount the possibility of there being something along those lines going on, but Yugioh and JJK must still follow very different processes in development. JJK is a manga being faithfully adapted into the anime format, the material is all there from the word go. Yugioh is... well, it WAS an anime adapting a manga, but it isn't anymore. Especially not in the Rush Era. Duels have to be scripted, monsters have to be designed from the ground up, and those same monsters have to have a polished piece of artwork for the actual physical cards. Something like JJK I'm sure has their own complicated processes, but at the very least everything already has an outline, and the job is taking that outline and making it look good in animation... something that they took too far, considering that the employees rightfully had enough and went on strike. Point is... the studio as a whole must've really just been trying to drag out Go Rush as long as possible, so now that we're in the third season, shit is getting progressively more low-effort.

Absolutely. If you’ve only ever watched DM - VRAINS, I’ll admit the shift from them to this, and of course Sevens, is noticeable but definitely worth it. Take it from me - I was in the same position when Season 2 came out, but I gave this show a chance, and I’ve enjoyed it ever since.

As a stand alone series might not that good, BUT, as a sequel definitely worth to watch. What i mean, i recommend to watch Sevens first, then Go Rush. If you only watch Go Rush, you might miss something.

This is one of the best yugioh series in awhile. It's different from Dm to vrains. So don't go into sevens and go rush thinking that. I feel like this series excels at character development. Every single main or ensemble character gets their own moment to shine. Even the sides are fleshed out. Story is great. My only gripe is how comedic the two series are. I feel like there will be a third series that will be much darker

I doubt we will get any more summoning methods otherwise rush duels get too close to master duels. Not in concept, but in “size” - not sure of the right word. Fusions were fine but I doubt it’ll go further than that honestly.

You can summon as many monsters in Rush Duel already, it didnt need pendulum. And i dont want synchro in this too. The next summoning that i want in rush duel is ritual tbh.

@@hazelafif29Ritual makes the most sense to introduce next and yeah considering you can normal summon as much as you want here Pendulums would be redundant, the others i could possibly see much much later down the line most likely out of them being Synchros.

Honestly I don’t see anymore being added or very least I reckon Rituals. Main point of rush is to keep it as simple as possible while still interesting. Adding more master duel elements might make the original concept of rush duels pointless in a way I think.

Good OP and still not believe the 7 or RUSH series still continue. I Though the next series or series about history of monster in card is the next one.
