Im noticing a trend with these new decks. Tri-brigade have their 1 card starter in fractal and a -1 extender like kerass (by pure card advantage numbers, not including useful discard or stuff you want in grave). The new xiangjian archetype has their 1 card synchro and the level 6 -1 extender who discards a wyrm to summon itself. And now this archetype with their normal summon stratos like effects and the level 8 which is also, a -1 extender. It's always neat to see

So, as far as I can see, if going first you want to end on fusion + tuner that can summon in opponents turn with a GY full of tuner names for a quick effect field clear mid combo; if second use spell/traps to clear negates go into synchro with fusion and +600, get tuner that halves, fire effect on biggest thing on field then tribute it into 8.

Would've preffered an archetype that's themed around metal music, with the monsters being based iconic metal band mascots, such as: Eddie the Head, Vic Rattlehead, The Guy, Painkiller, Snagletooth, etc. Their equip cards can be instruments, and when multiple of them are on the field they can trigger a powerful effect, referencing a band playing music.
