Remember when Yu-gi-oh games would let you use the "password" number on the bottom of the cards to add them instantly for free? I guess now with all the card images available online it wasn't practical to add in anymore...I still miss that feature though.

Grinding will always be easier, especially for some of the higher rarity stuff. The RNG in this game for packs absolutely hates me. I'm sat on 313/314 Yami Yugi cards lol

A good grinding spot for points is the first Yugi vs Kaiba duel. Yugi has a great Exodia deck that has a decent draw engine that makes getting Exodia reliably. Kaiba's deck is pretty bad (early Yu-gi-oh, am I right?), but can get BEWD out easily if you are not careful. Yugi vs Weevil is good for testing decks because Weevil's deck is inconsistent and makes a good punching bag. The reverse duel for Yugi vs Rare Hunter is also an easy grind for points (cheater's Exodia is that good). Hope this helps any new players out there.

In case nobody has seen videos on how to easily grind for dp, start with the Cheating Exodia deck from Seeker as you can get this early in the game and then get what you need from Kaiba, Joey, and Varis packs to make a Chaos MAX deck. You’ll end duels on your first turn for the most part if you go second. Within 2 days I got over 100k dp and managed to pull 3 Infinite Impermanence. If you’re struggling getting certain cards just look at the deck recipes and see what deck has the card you need. Face that duelist until you get what you need, they’ll give you cards from their deck until you have 3 of each.

Attention duel links players. The decks you're used to being good are not going to translate to tcg very well. Don't play spellbooks fur hire or amazoness. Trust they won't hold up to the field.

@@Marcusjnmc any deck can win but I'm sorry duel links is completely different to the tcg silent magician is not even good at all in tcg. You must understand the only reason those kind of decks existed and did well in duel links is because the card pool was/is significantly smaller so duelinks doesn't have all the outs the tcg has for theses cards. If you wanna open a ton of packs to build spellbooks go ahead man but it will only be a matter of time before you realise you wasted your time doing that.

@@uoDucks6 Windwitch Spellbook + secondary spellcaster engine is a proven deck from OCG 2017, the best version obviously being Invoked WW Spellbooks using spellbooks purely as an advantage engine being so effective resulting in the OCG hits to it, Silent WW Spelbooks also saw play as a lower tier deck in both formats spell negate + monster negate + banish disruption is enough to be effective at some levels of play, Spellbooks being one of the most difficult cores to get is definitely unappealing though, it's something to go for deeper into the games lifespan with extra to spare and nothing in particular to go after, unless it's a personal favourite.

None of these replies with the exception of Crusadias are actually good decks. Gravekeepers lose to pretty much anything decent. Amazoness are terrible in the TCG and any format that isn't Duel Links and Elementsabers, while probably good enough to beat GKs, are still pretty bad. You're looking for something more like Sky Striker or Thunder Dragon, both of which will have no trouble at all with Gravekeepers in any form. Crusadias are also quite good, but they aren't quite meta either, they lose too badly to hand traps.

WHO ARE THESE CHARACTERS!!?!? Haha, I've decided to download this game after deep cleaning my room and re-discovering all my cards. I miss playing with actual, physical cards so naturally, it's pretty addicting. I stopped playing right after XYZ monsters were introduced so I have an almost complete set of Generation Force. It appears that my Wind-Up Zenmaister and Wonder Wand are (Ultimate??) Rare because the borders on the face of the cards are shiny... Or I guess looking at them now, I guess could be described as "metallic-esque", I don't know. All I know is that they look pretty damn cool. Thanks for the vid!
