This is a project I wanted to do for a while but I wanted to get a bit more comfortable with animating first. This is easily the most time-intensive animation I've done so far. So proud that it is finished!

"This card can be activated if certain numbers of monsters exist either in your fields or the opponent fields, at least one for each field. Take the amount of your current life point, negate every monster effects in the field as long as this process is still on going, then apply your life point to whatever the Monsters position are and reduce atk/def point using the life point as subtractor. If the monster atk/def point hits zero, the card is destroyed/removed from play/returned to deck or hand, whatever works, but it will be decided by your opponent. Any remaining point after monster sacrificing, will be deduced from your own life point. Even if your life point hits zero, the game is not yet decided until your opponent does the same process of deducing his/her life point to his monster. If both sides has 0 LP after the effects ended, the game is a draw, else decide win/lose normally, or just continue the duel." You said you're invincible, which means you have infinite amount of LP. No amount of monsters will save you from defeat. Jokes aside, some cards really need to be nerfed so they are tournament available again.

Funny thing is that 5D's has two cards with similar effects as Command Silencer, the regular totem pole without the noise-cancelling speakers was the only one made into an actual card but it was only released in Japan as part of the Animation Chronicle 2023 collector set (although that was in June, it might get released to the rest of the OCG nations and to the TCG later on, the 2022 edition was released in South Korea in September and the TCG counterpart, Battles of Legend: Crystal Revenge was released in November)

I think a lot of people have similar stories. With Pokémon, my friends and I in elementary school didn't know they needed energy cards to actually attack; I would just spam Submission for 80 damage with my Machoke card and they wouldn't play with me anymore😂

I find this extra hilarious when you consider that this is *Kaiba's* Battle City Tournament finals and so he's the one who sets the rules and instead of enforcing them the minute Yami starts making up bullshit plays he just acquiesces and continues the duel like it's not a problem. He must really want to beat Yami even if it means letting him blatantly cheat. Also let's remember that throughout this season multiple characters cheated in Battle City from Espa Roba, to the rare hunters even Joey and Mako got away with some bs plays in their duel and yet Kaiba and Mokuba let all of it slide cuz Kaiba was hyper obsessed with drawing out the Egyptian Gods and beating Yugi to become the the undeniable King of Games. Just shows that Kaiba will tolerate all sorts of shenanigans as long as he thinks he'll benefit in the end. This makes him a terrible tournament organizer!
