Yea so this is just an example of md messing with tenpai, 95% sure they can't negate Chundra dmg step effect, and this is just mds way of nerfing the deck. Only effects that can be activated in the dmg step are effects that change atk value or that specifically say dmg step

Master Duel hasn't nerfed Tenpai. I can negate Chundra in the damage step using the effect of Rainbow applied to my Thunder, as the effect of Rainbow negates the activation. Effects that negate the activation are allowed to activate in the damage step, unless otherwise stated.

I just opened a literal library to learn the dmg step. Suddenly, I hate the game of yugioh

@@pce-o8f That’s Yu-Gi-Oh for you😂 But yeah, cards that negate activation, but also counter traps work in the damage step, meaning you could negate Forbidden Droplet in the damage step with Solemn Judgement (if they didn’t send a trap to the GY).

@EmiPhenex yea the rulebook is like "yea just atk/def changers, counter traps, cards that can only be activated at the start of dmg." Then I go to yugipedia and see an entire library with every possible effect that the rulebook doesn't even mention
