@@jessejive117 Goat format wasnt even the best either. Best old format was Monarch toolbox warrior. No cards that could just win games ( unlike in Goat format where Delinquent and many more where a thing ), pure grind games back then. But ye, YGO became way to fast. Game takes literaly almost no skill / brain anymore. I thought about coming back a lot of times because it used to be the best TCG but not anymore unfortunatly.

Adam old Yugioh was too much of a simple slug fest. Yu-Gi-Oh! Nowadays requires players to be meticulous and actually strategize when deck building and playing. Also, Yu-Gi-Oh! nowadays allows for more creativity because of all the new ways to play and all the new archetypes available to use.

Wario Wuzo you can still strategize in a slower format. In fact I would argue it makes the game more competitive because there were no OTKs and therefore less variance.

Wow the nostalgia is real, some of my best memories is playing with my big brother when we were kids and he would buy boxes an always gave me a few packs to open. He’s no longer alive but man these videos bring back good memories. So thank you for making these videos and keeping the old school yugioh alive.

Metal Raiders was my first booster pack. I got it when I was 10. summer of 2002 when my mom took me to wizards of the coast store in the mall. I remember getting witch of the black forest, Guardian of the throne room and mushroom man. 😊

Jigen Bakudan was used when Pegasus was dueling Yugi. He tried to use time to defeat him. Luckily, Yugi used to Brain Control to control Relinquished and dispelled the bomb before it could destroy him and his life points.

Great Opening and very nice last pull from LOB pack I remember as well stil buying LOB packs although MRD packs where released but in the store of my city only LOB packs where available so I got here and there some LOB packs ( I was about 5 or 6 years old) but I never pulled Blue Eyes or Red Eyes at least I got some ultra Rare Exodia parts ^^ Watching ur openings brings back good memories man!

I think spiritual energy settle machine (or however it's worded) prevents spirit monsters from leaving the field. Back in the day, Noah used that against Yami Yugi when they were imprisoned in that virtual world.

This is the only Yu-Gi-Oh I know. I stopped playing after Dark Beginning 1 came out. It hurt a bit when you pointed at a pack of "Pharaonic Guardian" and said "Pharao's Servant"... I remember when I was so happy that I pulled a Barrel Dragon out of my first Metal Raiders pack and after that a friend of mine pulled two insane foils (a Mirror Force and a Sanga of the Thunder) out of the next one. I was a little bit pissed, not gonna lie :D Good old times...

My favorite set is Legacy of Darkness. So many cool cards like Yamata and Tyrant Dragon, Dark Ruler Ha Des, Airknight Parshath and the warrior support (because Warriors are my fav type), and have some of the most broken cards ever (Yata, Fiber Jar). Even the commons are so cool, like Dai Grepher, Cave Dragon, Dragon dweling. Frkn love this set.
