A lot of cards during the early days of XYZ came with the restriction that they can't be used to synchro summon. Like a lot of the gagaga cards. They were pushing for the new summoning method by having a lot of cards special summon similar lvls and lvl modulation effects, so they preemptive put restrictions so people wouldn't go back to synchros and use the new xyz cards.

I’ve been playing PK since Phantom Rage came out, and was honestly very close to taking it apart - it can do cool stuff and is probably one of the most fun decks I’ve ever played, but the boards I made were always too fragile and it lost a lot to my friends’ Dark Magician deck and Zoo/Tribrigade deck. This video saved it for me!! Thanks y’all 👌 Also, the reason that Tour Guide and all of those cards stopped you from doing Synchro summons were because Synchros were busted in that format. Level 3 Tuners were easy to bring out, and things like Tour Guide let you turbo into things like Trishula and Brionac.

Synchros were super busted back in the day. It was the new mechanic on the block back then, and made fusion summoning outdated. Synchro summoning was too free, and meta warping back then. Junk doppel was the best synchro deck pulling off 1st turn Shooting Star Dragon, and later Shooting Quasar Dragon. All of this was when D.D. Crow, and Effect Veiler were the only 2 real hand traps in the game

I'm currently watching the last season of Arc V and have like 30 episodes to go. But little spoiler alert there are nearly no Duels with the Phantomknights. Like two duels in season 1 and none in season 2. Very disappointing. I started to watch it a month ago because of the Phantomknights. But overall i like it, It gets really dark later on and the story is interesting. But be prepared to hear "DAGA DAMEJI WA UKERU" (but u still take the damage) every duel.😂

Other than the fact that you didn't use the effect of Phantom Knight cloak to add 800 to Bardiche so it didn't just get beat over as easily, pretty good deck profile. Hardly anyone remembers cloak has an on field effect. I suppose the argument could be made that you were afraid of Ogre, but.. are we really?

Somebody else already mentioned a codpiece for the next PK armor monster, but I'd like to also suggest a fusion monster for this deck, which takes no spell to make, but you must have, let's say, 4 PK monsters with different names that are all lvl 4 or lower (so no XYZ/Link) but that is a great boss monster. Like a PK version of Dragoon. And it could just be The Phantom Knight. Like, the ghosts actually pulled themselves together. And I think it'd look super cool, too.

We use white dragon shield for the main deck, the extra deck is OCG kaiba Corp sleeves, and the extra deck is double sleeves with dragon shield classic clear!
