I'm kind of surprised he didn't even side a single Red Reboot. The card is absolutely insane in Magibullets against the right opponent. You prevent more traps and put another backrow on the field in order to go in harder with Max.

Alexander Reyes yeah or even just the third Doc. This deck can brick quite easy so you always need to open a monster to summon Max.

@@andross2 , I usually main two Docs because having him in hand without resources in the GY can be pretty bad, so I do not want to see him as much as Caspar or Starfire. This archetype has a very hard time against handtraps, I think that a field spell that grants them with a 500 ATK boost and some kind of protection for the activation of their effects would be just what they need to become tier 2 or 1.

I love me some Magical Musketeers. I actually do play Wild and Zakiel. Zakiel because he's a 2500 beater that gets you draws and Wild...so I can reuse my Max in the grind game. Hey, it comes up more than you think.

But you can only get his (Zakiel) draw during Opponent's End Phase and it should survive at that turn You also don't get plus immediately and it is too slow to summon him (Can use Max anyway) Lastly you can only get draw from _Magical Musket S/T you activated_ during your opp turn Not explaining it will be brick if you draw it Just my opinion The Wild is not too bad anyway

@@jofx4051 I know the effect, I play the deck. And from playing the deck, I rarely brick with him and can get him on board pretty easily. Hell, there are plenty of times where I just tribute Max, because after you summon him, he's just a 1k vanilla that you just so happens to have the MM effect. And if Zakiel did die before the end phase, well, pretty sure your opponent got rid of the other MMs as well, so really don't have to worry about that. Something went wrong and you're probably gonna lose anyway. It's just easy for him to gain you more advantage which is what a MM's job is. At worse He's a 25k beater with the MM effect. At best, He's a 25k (50k with Steady Hands) beater with the MM effect that can can get you more advantage. Yes, I get that he can be a brick, but I just don't run into that issue very much. Now a card that I do run into that issue all the time, to where I don't play it anymore is Double or Nothing. I cannot tell you how many times I drew this fucking card. And unlike Zakiel(who you can summon or discard with Kids effect), it's staying in your hand. Now granted, You can summon two level fours and summon Utopia, but you still had to summon an xyz monster to get rid of a spell? Naw. I rather use that for him. I get this may not be the case for others, but I can only go by my own experience. And from My own experience Zakiel has helped more than hindered. It's not a card you have to play, but I find a one-off to be fine. Preferences.

@@JABRIEL251 Looks like your MM deck run so well I think it is 2.5k ATK instead of 25k The Zakiel looks like for beatstick instead of using its effect (I guess) The double of nothing, if you draw it, just summon Utopia one instead of that Utopia searcher; I think that tech can steal game somehow Yeah a single card each people put may be a liability later if you draw it earlier or later If you rarely summon 1-2 cards from your extra deck or some cards do not functioning well, I think just replace them with better cards

I loved playing Zakiel as a 1-of with the trap. If you get him out turn 2-3 after you set up he is great. But that is pretty much only against table 500 decks since they lose to 1 negate.

@@JABRIEL251 i completely agree with you. I as well play both Zak and Wild and find it nice. Zakiel doesnt always get to use his eff but comes in handy at least so your oponent has ti throw things at him to prevent you getting a big enough advantage

@@goobernater8186 yeah i like the eccentrick and i do personally run 2 copies since i play a.going 1st build with ties and i dont ever side eccentrik out even if i do side out ties. I also play the other lvl 4, Wild and he can come in pretty handy sometimes, if for example i open ties with only lvl 4 in hand i still can extend enough so i can plus and disrupt during opp turn

Meh, i play the deck as well and i call him the handtrap eater because usually the 1st one you play will eat a handtrap. Its a really tough deck to play properly as resource management is so important and yet so damn tough to pull off.

Can someone explain me how does the mystic mine works on this deck? Like how you make damage or activate effects?

It stalls until you have everything you need to pretty much OTK your opponent. Even if you get into a situation where you have more monsters than your opponent, since Mystic Mine prevents monster effect activations and does nothing to continuous effects, you can still use your S/T from hand under Mystic Mine (which, incidentally, makes it an incredible deck against Mystic Mine strategies itself), and pop your own Mystic Mine with Desperado when you're ready to go in. And you're only going -1 to do it by using the effect of the Magibullet in the column where you activated Desperado (instead of -2 for popping your own card). That said, if your opponent is the one being hurt by Mystic Mine, you can just OTK them with the Cross Dom/Utopia combo he talked about.

Mark Reber me too...I have the most difficulty trying to get around all of this decks constant negation this deck has to everything I try to do. I play a monster, opponent activated card from hand to destroy monster. I go to activate a magic or trap card. Opponent activated another card from hand to negate activation. It’s so frustrating... I have no idea how to combat this deck. These decks always stop everything I try to do. I can hardly get in any plays.

I used to do this in a Magibullet True Draco build I used to play when Master Peace was legal. The idea was that you set Jar in a free column, then on your next turn, you summon a Magibullet in front of it, then use Diagram to target Jar, and then chain Jar, which will trigger the Magibullet. The Jar draw one, then Diagram destroys the Jar (which is still on the field) to search your Draco card, and then your Magibullet effect happens. It turns Jar into a +2 instead of a one for one (as it is in most decks) or a +1 (as it is of be in a different Magibullet build) It's still too slow and I ultimately cut it for that reason, but it was a hilarious blowout when it resolved

Magical Muskets generate an additional +1 when Upstart is activated in their column. Muskets don't mind 40+ card decks since their Monsters search through everything in their deck. So Upstart isn't there to make a 39 card deck, it's gives you a draw with it's main function being to get an additional +1 by triggering a Musket.

@@tylermayer5386 The deck basically does nothing without Caspar and the right spell/trap. If you Caspar with Cross Domination you have 2 interrupts. But the problem is Caspar searches as a hard OPT. So once you Cross Domination and Desperado you have no interrupts and are free to die. You also lose lots of advantage if you try to interrupt without Caspar since you don't get to search your interrupts. The deck just has a lot of issues. I find it fun since it feels more like combo than control, but honestly if you just Ogre or Ash (god forbid Gamma) the Caspar you win the duel.

Tyler Mayer I’ve tried running Zakiel, and he’s come in handy. Allowing you to draw from 1-5 cards during your opponents turn often times draws what you need to fire back off.
