@@gabrieldevoogel6225 even in the manga still shadi did not get a good share he never duels What I would have done is made shadi duel marik (regular marik) with both wagering eachothers millennium item. Also instead of plot armor I would have had shadi become the guy that saves atem from losing a duel by using magic to interfere in a game. But unfortunately the author made too many mistakes and ruined his own series. We still don't know why shadi lied to marik about who killed his dad.

@@redspirit5885 the author didn’t ruin his own series your just pretending he did, is it contrived, yes, does it ruin the story? Not really, because there’s a bigger plot hole in manga chapter one, why didn’t grandpa muto take the puzzle, he wielded it for a brief moment so we know it wouldn’t hurt him and initially in fact CHOSE HIM, there’s a real big plot hole, don’t waste your observation on Shadi not dueling or having a contrived moment to show why he’s dead now and a ghost

It's interesting.... I think Shadi found the True room however, in his excitement at his apparant victory, he failed to take into account any potential traps that could be in the True room, causing his defeat. Sorry if this is obvious but I only really realised this now.
