Hope you will read this Yesterday i made an invoked shaddoll Eldlich deck and it is soooooo good the fact that Eldlich ist light type you can go into construct easily and get him back by using the Eldlich traps also you can go into mechaba He is the only light monster in the deck but when you play 3 scarlet sanguine 3 black awakening and 2 cursed Eldland you almost have him every time on board or in hand so playing him as the only light monster isn’t really a problem and you can also use the Eldlich traps as light monsters

Just want to hear your thoughts on Yugioh. Has the community increased or decreased in numbers and will Yugioh out number magic?

Yugioh has grown but its not gonna out number magic, magic is far more accessible both in price and play style. ygo seems simple but there is so much happening at once that when you start out it can be pretty hard to grasp, on the other hand magic has a slower more methodical play style. And with prices magic is just a lot easier to build fun, functioning decks that can be pretty competitive for 30 bucks while with ygo you'll struggle to get that for something around the 50 mark.

Here is an example: Cards like the Knightmare Link monsters clearly determine if they will draw (or not) at activation, so if they are not co-linked (at activation), ash cannot chain (you will not draw even if at resolution the activated knightmare is now co-linked, also you will draw if the knightmare activated while co-linked and at resolution is not co-linked any longer). On the other hand, cards worded like Shaddoll fusion have the effect built-in always live, so even if at activation the opponent doesn't have an Extra Deck monster, they may have at resolution (where the card actually checks for the additional effect). Since that extra effect may apply, and because it includes cards being sent from Deck to the GY, ash blossom can chain to the card's activation. If you compare any card to the previously mentioned ones, you can now determine if ash can be chained or not. -------------------------- Additionally, since ash negates the effect, an other Shaddoll Fusion cannot be activated (it activated successfully, but not resolved), also even if Meltdown is face-up, ash blossom can still negate Shaddoll Fusion, since it doesnt hit the activation (that meltdown prevents). If you need any more clarification, feel free to ask.

@@dizzy1611 It doesn't matter if you're not sending from deck. Ash negates a card if it includes the effect that would allow it to send from deck.

@@dizzy1611 basically if the card has an effect that includes "x" even if you're not applying "x" effect at that time, you can still negate. Think macro cosmos vs solemn warning. Macro cosmos includes the effect of special summoning that helios monster but most people only play it for the banishing effect but since the card includes the effect that it CAN ss, solemn warning can negate macro cosmos. Same ruling applies here with ash vs shaddoll fusion.

no one cant ash your shaddoll fusion, only if you r using materials from deck. on 5:55 he could not use materials from deck bcs opponent do not control any monsters from extra deck... so shaddoll fusion at that point is normal poly - cant be ashed.

I was looking into an Invoked Generaider strategy. It’s super scary because if your opponent manages to play through your negates, they have to deal with your invoked side. It is also safer because there is space for x3 called by the graves to protect Aleister the Invoker

I always feel like if you would take the tier 1 decks away this format (as well as the stupid Dragonlink FTK), it would be one of the best formats we ever had. Tier 2 decks are just always much more interesting to look at when being played compared to yugioh´s high-high end decks. This could probably be said about most yugioh formats.

İn 13.58 if generaider player activated the 'infinite impermanence' would it negate the 'invocation'? I know since meltdown is on the field,you cant negate summon of the invoked monsters but it isnt a direct negate.What do you guys think?

While Meltdown is on the field, you cannot negate the ACTIVATION of a card/effect that fusions. Impermanence would let invocation resolve, but without an effect so it would be a legal play.. On the other hand, Hoar cannot activate to negate invocation due to that wording.

At 5:20 Generaiders doesn’t have the option to Ash the Shaddoll Fusion since he doesn’t have the opportunity to send from the deck. There are mad misplays in this vid dog😂😂

Doesn't matter if he can or can't, Shaddoll fusion says you can send from the deck. Doesn't matter if he met the requirements or not, blossom will still negate it. Has been ruled that way for sometime now.

Here’s an idea for a potential future tournament with a theme: a field of decks built and geared towards a specific summoning mechanic like Crusadia is primarily a link climbing deck, Synchrons and primarily synchro summoning, and Nekroz is ritual. Or a Xyz dominant tournament like decks that are all about rank 4 spamming and a deck like Galaxy that’s all about rank 8s
