I really don't understand why Konami decided to name this Polymerization instead of Fusion (Like in the Japanese Version), it adds so much more unnecessary texts to future cards and searchers requiring them to include Polymerization as well

Surprised you didn't mention Guardian Chimera since that's a modern fusion monster that encourages use of summoning it with Poly

You just helped me realize how Konami could fix the crappy Beetrooper Fusion card. It should shuffle cards back into the deck that are banished or in the GY. The opposite of Shadoll Fusion.

It was actually pretty common for pure Shaddoll decks when the Shaddoll Showdown structure deck came out to run Polymerization, simply because it was their only searchable option at the time with Fusion Recycling Plant. Shaddoll Fusion and El Shaddoll Fusion are great, but they aren’t searchable outside of Hedgehog’s slow flip effect, which almost never comes up.

Man, I love polymerisation. Its art is just so simplistic, and so is its effect. Its also very visually pleasing to look at. Its just a colourful spiral.

I'd argue Miracle Fusion was the first non generic fusion spell. Shaddolls was the first time the spells didn't suck or break the game like Future Fusion, and Overload Fusion.

A classic. I ran it in my Blue-Eyes deck because I did not want to banish my monsters because I was a sad person who played Shining Dragon and wanted it to gain more ATK. Typical plays that needed 3 cards was: Future Fusion for FGD: Drop 3 White Stone of Legend to add 3 Blue-Eyes Drop King of the Swamp: Add 1 Poly Poly: Fuse all 3 Blue-Eyes to get Ultimate Dragon If Shining Dragon is in my hand, I tribute Ultimate Dragon to summon it. It would gain 300 atk for every stupid Dragon in my GY... I had 5 from Future Fusion, 3 for Fusion Summoning Ultimate Dragon and 1 because I tributed Ultimate Dragon. 3000 + 300 x (5 + 3 + 1) = 5700. Then my opponent attacked my Shining Dragon with Grand Mole and all my efforts were wasted.

Why? Polymerization is originally called "Fusion" to support the existing monster card type, Fusion. We already have a series of cards with Fusion in their names. They have direct support and searchers.
