Hallowed Life Barrier actually protected you from battle damage AND effect damage. It was Pikeru’s Circle that protected from effect damage only at no cost

Well, the cost was to discard but yes you're right, it protects you from all damage. Still a terrible card at the time unless you sided it out for burn and then it still only saves you for one turn

I wish sandwich would’ve had a much better art design and been a higher rarity and had the effect of taking a monster with an attack and a monster with a defense of 1500 or less and adding them to your hand. Youd get both of their effects! And entirely different design. Something kind of spooky and living in the black forest or a swampy area.

Man 200 cards and like 12 were this rares and actually good cards. I mean sure 20 of those cards in the common pile can be used for a bounch of decks. But yeah a lot of worthless cards. Not strange I stopped, it got to expensive. I never bought that many cards at all, I was not competetive or a collector I played for fun and most of my good cards came from Starter decks and the game Power of Chaos.

You can't go wrong with old yugioh cards, they may still be viable in tournaments you just never know till you play them.

I was stoked when I pulled out an ultimate rare Mobius in the first couple packs I pulled from when this set came out, especially considering how harpies feather duster and heavy storm was banned.

Not a big fan of soul of the duelist but nice opening regardless. Would like to ask one thing tho. Is there counterfeit LOB unlimited boxes or they are exclusively 1st ed? Found some boxes of these for a good price but i'm very afraid of fake boxes. Until now i only found videos on YT and accounts of fake 1st ed boxes but i'd appreciate if anyone knows different, thanks.

You should go and check if you can find more old videos 😊 SOD seems to be weird with ratios sometimes. There was a german video recently where they pulled no super, no ultra but 4 ultimates from a sealed box.

Dont the boxes from this era with ultimate rare supers/ultras have different barcodes? Thats what I have seen others saying so if you have one of the versions, it isnt actually possible to pull the decent ultis.
