In a more experimental build I’ve been fooling around with, just solitairing lol. (2 zodiac XYZ, Dweller, Bahamut, tornado dragon, good XYZ etc.) I’ve found Ahashima to be quite the combo extender. Like, I would do the standard plays then use either 2 lv7s or lv1s to summon pike from hand and goons from grave and XYZ from there. With cards like Saryuja, aqua spirit, Sthana and Halqifibrax to just enable XYZ spam, it’s really fun, albeit quite terrible xD

use Bujin needlefiber and bahamut to make Fusion trish then use launcher and moulin to make ravenous crocosaur (post ETVO) then make calamities, Diva = calamities + toad + -2 moulin + 1 card in hand

After a lot of testing I found Ahashima being a "staple" card, personally. A nice way to make a Toad + a search for the next turn off Goons when you get HTed multiple times.

since this is a 1 card combo, u could go into saryuja instead of apollousa and potentially draw into something to make your hand be able to fully handloop the opp and/or bust out more negates

Again that would involve linking away Moulinglacia which means your entire next turn sucks. And getting to more extenders to make that not matter is not guaranteed at all. Especially since with the context of you are only doing this combo if you open ONLY Diva and not even another Water monster to make the combo better, you would have to draw every single one of your combo pieces off Saryuja as you have literally nothing in hand to build upon for a combo.

Hey man, does Deep Sea Divas effect still resolve if its destroyed on summon? Something like torrential tribute? A buddy said the new monster is destroyed too but I thought since chains go backwards, torrential would wipe the field and the Divas summon would come to the field.

Incorrect. I knew about this combo before you posted anything about it and my opinion hasn't changed on it. Had spaces in my extra deck after optimizing past needing Jet Synchron in other combos which meant I could cut something for the Bujin link. While I actively wanted to play different cards in the slot of the Bujin link literally the entire time I tested the deck I kept it in just to see how often the combo came up. Which as I said, twice and only by brute forced hands of Diva being literally the only Water monster in them. This combo sucks because basically every other play is better than it. I don't know how you can say you think you changed my mind on the combo when I actively am making low key fun of the people commenting about this combo in this very video. Add to that outside of the 2 games the Diva combo came up I was actively losing more games because the Bujin link and Apollousa which are only played for this combo were not more powerful shit like Excition or Big Eye or etc. other cards i could have played in those slots. And the 2 times I did do the Diva combo, I lost those games anyway, this combo doesnt even win games by itself. It sucks but you have to know it cause MAYBE you will win with it. And it made a perfect lazy upload.

PhoenixFlareX personal question: would you ever make room for Brionac or Honor Ark as going second cards in the ED that synergize with waters (Launcher, Anemone, etc) and trigger Dragoons and such? Or do you think that for the most part they are just redundant with things like Unicorn and Phoenix and links that are more generic?

Why not do IP than summon app during opponents turn. With 4 material using light link.

The bujin link can never be linked with. Period. It's effect is "this card cannot be used as Link Material". So making I:P into Apollousa would still only be a 3 material Apollousa at most but this time you have to link away Moulinglacia for it to be 3 material or else it's now a 2 material. So no.

We don't have ETCO yet. But this is only a minorly stronger ending board but negatively impacts you by skipping your next battle phase and forces you to play the shitty Trishula fusion which is going to literally have no effect every game you play :S Pretty sure this is a hard pass.
