I have been playing this game for over 9 years now, I want to play pure dino but this video made me rethink alot. You explaining things so well and yet so calming makes it even better. I've been playing mermail since Abyss rising dropped. This has been one of my favorite decks. I really like the interactions with combo sequences that always get you to the same route of either hand looping or otking your opponent.

At 4:30, you can chain block the Abyssmegalo with the discarded Abyssgunde. I saw that you missed this in the last combo video. Other than that small thing, these videos are great! I just bought the deck recently, so when locals opens up, I'll be prepared. I've been researching how to play this deck, and your channel by far has helped me the most. You're one of the only Mermail KZbinrs that show Anti-Nibiru combos, which I very much appreciate! Thank you for your hard work!!!!

1st of all i'd like to congratulate Abysshire YGO for the content. Water minds together can definetly make someone top in a premier event playing the most fun deck around showing the possibilities this deck offers. I'm not playing moulinglacia and handloop combo (playing safe since open teus dragoons isnt everyday and going 1st). But to analyze how you can stop nibiru we need to find which cards are available to us in a real scenario. 1 - Toadally Awesome (via your combo or simply opening swap -2 in hand and playing full pace after). 2 - Borreload Savage (sadly couldn't find a way to summon this big boi before 5). 3 - Herald of the arc Light (But also stops you do ditch water from hand to gy). The best I could find was open safe with: 1. Neptabyss -> Goons to Goons -> Search Lappis (if you have a teus or megalo in hand. Otherwise search for megalo - and search for lappis with next goons 2. Lappis SS -> Nepta into Linkuriboh -> SS Fiber -> Jet Synchron. 3. Megalo/Teus -> Goons + Water / Goons -> Add Scale + diva/nepta / Add gunde + diva/nepta 4. Synchro jet + Megalo/Teus into Borreload Savage with 1 negate only (linkuriboh). Until here you force nibiru and you still have jet in grave to trigger + starter for next turn + your hand. It is possible to use token + jet into another fiber and extend you plays into you opp turn. Or you can simply jet eff -> send 1 card to grave (usually abyss-scale or brick) and Pass Turn. M1 borreload negate -> Fiber eff -> Shooting Riser Dragon -> Mill lvl 4 monster Riser eff to synchro -> Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity. Your opp set a monster and pass turn. You usualy otk next turn with your starter card + water in hand. This combo can also be done starting with diva, and you do not need to search for lappis (since diva is tuner and go for fiber by itself), so you get another search for next turn. :) Just a replay of possibilities. www.duelingbook.com/replay?id=330228-16890908

Have you thought about the bujin asahima combo? You diva get prince search drsguns and lapis, use lapis and diva for fiber, use the fishborg and prince for the bujin, make shark search glacia drop it and you can still revive the fishborg for a crocosaur or abysslacia. Counting the discard of off fibers effect in the oponents turn, a lone dive means a negate, an interruption and 3 cards discarded. Once you get used to using the bujin for combos it opens so many more plays.

Hakai Master what I find works amazing for the deep sea engine is 3x Deep Sea Aria (or 2) 2x of the level 1 and 1x of the level 3 tuner. Sorry I don’t know there names but that engine allows you easy discards!

I also put in jet synchron as well as fishborg, I feel like having them both makes more plays possible. Very much in love with this deck profile, I did however take out avarice for Moray, I just feel like drawing into it can make hands so much better and it almost always baits people into using their negates cuz it looks like a scary card. I did try the Genex build for a while cuz it's more consistent with making herald of the arc light with jet synchron. However getting out toadally so easily with frogs makes it so much better imo. Dragite is on the way rn, in love with the artwork. I really need to find a place for mistar boy again =/ Thanks for the updated profile!

I've been trying to find the best draw option for mermail since the deck is so heavily monster based, and I suggest you to test 1 pinpoint landing. Worst case scenario if you open double moray is a nightmare. But if you open 1 pinpoint + 1 moray odds of drawing a monster by pinpoint is big, then you can use moray. Drawback of pinpoint is hard opt. So 1 is fine, and 1 moray as well is ok. Hope I can help :) Bonus: Pinpoint can chainblock you effects as last chain link, forcing your opponent to ash pinpoint. So atm my starting trio are: Upstart, 1x Moray 1x Pinpoint

Orange Team Ygo right now I’m just running 1 Moray for that exact reason. I’m not sure how I feel about pinpoint, I feel like it can contribute to bricking also its wording is very specific. My main problem with it is it makes my hand better later and not now and it has to be out for at least 2 of my turns to get real value. With accesscode talker coming out I’ve been testing knightmare unicorn and Phoenix for some more draw power as well as being targets for his effect.

@@elio11111 I'm testing post ETCO version of the deck with magicians souls + brick (medium of ice barrier = banish for aria or exodius = shuffle GY restart dragoons). Magicians Souls gives +1 with pinpoint. Pinpoint activate -> souls mill medium or fog king or exodius -> SS -< pinpoint eff and you can ditch pinpoint for +1 without even start playin yugioh.

A Proud European Desires has always been a good card, I just recommend messing around with main deck ratios so you can get the best use of it!

Great work but I don't feel like linking the moulinglacia is a good option. I see that you overextend in order to create different sorts of disruption but even that... Ramon Perez Backrow decks have always posed as a problem for combo decks, regardless of Mermail. The side deck is where the board clearing/breaking cards are. Evenly matched, Lightning storm, etc are the most popular picks. You kinda have to bank on going 1st against those types of decks. Subterror is an easier matchup than altergeist and mine imo. Most people play no S/T removal in the main, but I like to have at least 1 out.

No, they are most definetly a cost. Or if my terminology is wrong, the water monsters are sent to the GY to activate their effects, thus triggering Dragoons and any atlantean.

Those stupid dive ball in 4g ahahaah I try to set up a hunt for Shiny Regice in Platinum and I want to use dive ball but can't buy them in 4g so you basically need to migrate them from 3g and you can only migrate 6 per day so it's super long and you need probably more than 200

This is so dumb. I really hope konami does something about this. I play Zombies and can do a similiar combo where I rip 3, have 3 negates, banish a monster, as well as a 2900 atk link 4 that cant be destroyed by effects. There is almost no out to it, similiar to this combo. You'd need a hand of 5 hand traps and even then you wont be able to play your turn.
