Dino's, Paleozoics, and ABC's are pretty competitive decks on a budget. Pendulum magicians too if you're not splashing tons of money on the extra deck and staples.

I have to thank you, you gave me a great list to use for my kozmo deck, I did change some thing about it that honestly made it kinda cheeper but I also wanted to add landwalker in it, I mean it's just one but it works really well for me. And on top of that it help me top my last to local tournaments against even a spyral deck that was build to top format. The one thing I can't seem to get together right now is my last full force virus, so I just run the eradicator epidemic virus in it's place, and I really need to get an ash blossom, but I just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration and I hope to see you in the tops of tournaments again.

Pendulum Magician and D/D/D for life. Already topped my locals three times in a row with Pendulum Magicians. 36 people where there last time. Only challenges that where tough was Spyrals and Monarchs.

Spiral phantasams, is a meta KILLER deck. Before links it could bring out toadally awsome. My deck has support for chaos max dragon and you could easily add the invoked engine. Most slept on deck of 2017.

Blue-Eyes decks are pretty OP nowadays too because of Chaos MAX Dragon.. with a potential to almost OTK your opponent with double piercing

lol, dinosaurs aren't really archetype , their just pure type, archetypes are series like Elemental heroes and black wings , the only archtypes dinosaur had was the Jurrac, they didn't last very long thought

I feel like Dino’s had a much bigger meta effect this year than the 60 card decks did, idk how they’re only #9

Dinos may have had an impact, but not as big as Grass did. Grass made 60 card decks viable and having a spell that searches a win condition is REALLY good, like WAY TOO good at the time. We needed an out to keep it under control as it started to become as big as Zoodiacs, so Ash came in and slowed it down, but didn't entirely killed them off. Dinos might be very good, and it did have an impact when it came out, it's just so fragile that even its good consistency can look bad, and can die easily to a well timed hand trap, but if left alone, can make some of the best, unbreakable boards in the whole game. Oh, and it's overshadowed by True Dracos as a control deck, and by Zoodiacs as a OTK deck, but TK Dinos have outs to them as well, so they were good and meta.
