I've been playing this version for quite a bit and evolved it over time. My latest build now has a Borreload Dragon, Firewall Dragon, and Topologic Bomber Dragon in it now, and it gets INSANE sometimes. Haven't beaten my friend's Infernoid deck, but it's still fun.

+Actor Adam Anouer Yea. I ended up pulling both of them from their individual Special Editions yesterday, but I've had Borreload Dragon for a while. I don't go into him often unless I need something that's non-targeting, and Firewall's going to be more of a combo piece that an abused piece of the puzzle. I may be more of a casual player who doesn't like the break the bank, but I always LOVE it when I pull an AMAZING card from a pack.

I'm not certain if this is what Cimo meant by Black Fang OTK, but since I know of no other OTK strategy using it that requires specific elaboration I'll explain it here since I'm seeing so many comments wondering about it. This OTK is done by summoning Enlightenment Paladin, by pendulum summoning Harmonizing Magician, or White Wing with any other level 4 you can synchro this level 8 monster, as a bonus, you get to add a spell back from your gy to your hand if you synchro summon it using a Magician, pendulum monster. This step can be done before or after summoning Paladin, depending on what happened so far in the duel, using Black Fang Magician's pendulum effect you half the attack of an opponent's monster, the higher the value the better this will make the OTK, if needed use it's pendulum effect multiple times, either by grabbing an extra copy or by recycling the one you used with something like the pendulum effect of Oafdragon Magician. Once you summon Paladin you should use Double Iris Magician's pendulum effect and target Paladin so it will make double battle damage. Once you're ready to enter Battle Phase, attack the monster whose attack was lowered with Paladin, it will make big battle damage and, if you have Purple Poison in the scale you can boost Paladin's attack by an extra 1200, since he is also a Dark Spellcaster, further enhancing your damage. And if this doesn't kill your opponent, Paladin's effect will activate when he destroys a monster by battle and burn your opponent for the amount equal to the original attack value of the destroyed monster. If this isn't what Cimo meant then it might be that you just attempt to pendulum summon 1 or more Black Fang Magician copies, wait for your opponent sto use 3 copies of Solemn Strike and or Solemn Warning, and then attack for game if needed.

Also, since watching this I’ve been messing around with White Wing, and honestly not only is it good with a double omega play, but it also lets you easily do an omega/timestar play by using White Wings status as a more generic tuner, you can tune with one of your performapals into an Omega and then use the harmo and another magician to make your Timestar magician

Hmm... Mistake doesn't really hurt Pendulum Magicians though. Sure you can stop Star Graph, Pendulum Call and Double Iris... but Harmonising, Widsom-Eye and Oafdragon... still get their effects and spoiler warning so will Astrograph and Chronograph when Electrumite comes out. I'd recommend investing in some Unending Nightmares.

So there’s a card I saw that I don’t think a lot of people have been talking about, Pendulum Paradox, that came out in the OGC’s extreme force that I was wondering what y’all thought of- esp Cimos thoughts. It just adds 2 pendulum monsters with different names but the same scale from your extra deck to your hand. Keep in mind joker, double iris, harmo and black fang all share a scale of 8, which seems the most obvious application in adding 2 of them. Would any of you consider it a good card for magicians? It’s less flexible than pendulum call clearly because it requires set up, but it’s also a +1 and immune to Ash Blossom so there’s that.

just gonna put it out there, if you play a more link heavy version of pendulum magician and you have ib the world chalice priestess, you can copy her effect with supreme king dragon starving venom and as long as he's linked to something he can't be targeted or destroyed for the turn, and he gives all your monsters piercing for the turn which can help you push through something like scapegoat. won me a lot of games at least.

It was always entirely optional. In that regard, Pendulum was the best designed Summoning mechanic at inception- a good option if built around, and very powerful, but with enough inherent weaknesses that anyone can play around them.

There's a few questionable decisions about this build I would like to point out. First of all, Castel, not needed at all as you have ignister that does a better job than him. Second, ironically, the second timestar is overkill. Today's format timestar doesn't extend your plays, 41 is a better choice to end your turn with. Third, Astro and wavering ratio is suggestive to what your region is like, having a lot or no magician players. For now Astro at one is ok but wavering can be replaced by other cards that can extend your plays better because those are inherent -2 in the majority of cases outside of the mirror. But this will eventually change for Astro when electrumite comes out in EXFO. And lastly, SKD starving venom and enlightenment paladin are too situational to actually be in the extra deck. Paladin is probably the best option out of the 2 but you can replace them with other cards if wanted. This depends on play style too. The rest I have nothing to say, good build overall.

1 Box of Pendulum Evolution will get you all the Magicians and Pendulumgraph's you need easily however Performapal Skull Crobat Joker, Enlightenment Paladin, Pendulum Call and Wisdom-Eye Magician are sort of short printed in the pack. You can get them but getting multiples are tough so you might want to find some common jokers as well if you can. Duelist Alliance is in the Legendary Decks thankfully and it's a common whereas Pendulum Sorcerer is really cheap nowadays. Hope that helps buddy.

Bless no worries dude. I wouldn't worry too much, saying it's short printed I still managed to get 4 Wisdom-Eye between 2 boxes of PEVO and it is still relatively cheap but it might end up being one you'll need to trade for. The hardest card for me to get in the pack was Enlightenment Paladin. All the rest are fairly easy to get but PEVO has a lot more supers then ultra's so how many you get of the ones you need can be tricky. Either way I hope you get what you need buddy.

You half the attack of an opponents monster, multiple times if need be, summon Enlightenment Paladin, use Double Iris effect on Paladin, attack for huge double damage and then Paladin's effect burns the opponent for the same value of LP of the destroyed monster's attack.
