Consider reincarnation went from 40 to 7-8 bucks in battle of legends. The mega Tins cut candiam and light stage from 4 bucks to less than a dollar

Thats rather hard to do, because yu gi oh card then to differ strongly in price. For example cards can be very very cheap to have if they just released but after a couple of months certian cards will be quit expensif. Also the meta has a strong influence on it and which decks top. For example sauravis, the ancient and ascended was 6 months ago only 2 euros and now it is 8 euros a piece. And the same go for droll and lock bird which where 9 months ago only 0,30 euro cents and now 10 euros a piece. While for example topologic bomber dragon has gone down in price. That card was first 20 euros and is now 3 euros. And that was in less then 3 months.

Two cards you talk about here that are kinda odd for me how different you talk about them is Droll vs Shared Ride. You speak of Droll as if it's relatively bad while Shared as if it was particularly good...but the thing is that both cards target the same type of play with a few differences and I'm not sure Shared is always better. Sure, Shared ride is a +0 while Droll is a minus 1 and Droll loses to called by the grave ( albiet getting it called by the graved turns it +0 ) but those two things are the only advantages Shared has. On the flip side Droll doesn't only counter specific searches but Draws as well which Shared can't deal with, Droll works even if you're going second, and the thing about Shared, the enemy won't care how many cards they give you if they're going to FTK/OTK you. Doesn't matter if you have 10 cards in hand if you'll never get the chance to play them. Droll does not give them the option, they're just locked and that's that. ( Also very very rarely but this does come up some times for me, Droll is still a monster which gives you a few extra options on a most desperate situation, if both you and your opponent ran out of cards cause you just grinded at each other so hard and now both of you are top decking, well at least droll can still be set to buy you a turn. Or in case you have a bunch of stuff you can special summon but you'd just want 1 more monster down there for a better link play to go for game with a Borrelsword for example, you can always normal summon a droll the enemy is no playing into and swing for game like that.

RevilloPhoenix yeah it’s a pretty RIP feeling getting OTK’d after shared riding for 6. Though something important is that shared ride counts adds from the graveyard as well, which is better against a deck like BA which cir dante loops more than it searches. Shared Ride being a spell does help out with the sky striker engine. But the most important thing is shared ride is superior than droll against striker. Shared ride is worse against a deck that’d kill you after netting advantage, while sky striker doesn’t do that. They’ll probably stop searching for the turn, and shared ride deters their kagaris as well. Adding from the grave is also very relevant against gouki.

I'll be honest, this deck kinda confuses me. I mean the sky striker spells work when nothing is in the main monster zone and you want to keep lycoris on the field of I recall correctly so yeah. Could someone fill me in on how it works? Also what othee decks can use the Mekk-Knight engine?

Good lord... Do I have to be Seito Kaiba in order to play ANY of these decks at a tournament level? I just bought custom Sky Striker and Trickstar decks for a combo option only to discover that I was missing some of the very important cards, including Sky Striker Mobilize(which is a $60+ dollar card that I need 3 of to make the deck consistent) and Afterburners. It sounds like Sky Strikers/Trickstars are versatile, customizable, and comparably less expensive than Thunder Dragons(which was another cool deck I considered picking up), meaning I should get plenty of playability for a while unless the ban list goes kamikaze on both, but to pay so much right outta the gate just to get back to the game after 3 years is bogus. Last time I played, I secured 8th in a regional running Legendary Six Sams, but I doubt that deck can perform at the current level, even with the Secret Six and(God forbid) I shelled out the cash for all of these meta hand traps you keep showing. I'm a U.S. Navy Sailor from a humble family, dammit. Not an insufferable business tycoon's son. (Sighing and taking a deep breath)Securing from my ranting(I thank you for reading this far), what can I do for my chosen decks to make them better without paying what looks like $300+ more dollars for the fluff cards and yet still giving myself a decent chance at competing at a local or regional level? Trickstar stun or trickstar mekk-knight are relatively budget and if you don't have exspensive hand traps gamma , ogre and veiler are all good budget hand traps.

Gozen is pretty good in trickstar stun because all your monsters are light, main decking inspector boarder is really strong and you can also play cards like solemn strike or a artifact engine. Also playing contract with don thousand combos really well with reincarnation because if your versing a deck that doesnt run much backrow removal your opponent can't summon stuff while they have a car in their hand.

What Nabeel said. You want to normal summon aleister, aswell as candida. If we still had goblin and 3 hornet drones, it would be possible, but with the way it is... it’s just not really worth it. You could try to run 1 meltdown, 1 aleister and 1 invocation, together with 1 set rotation maybe. So you have 4 ways to access aleister, but invocation would be dead in your hand so fucking often. Not really worth it You could also splash in a brilliant engine together with it, but that’s way too inconsistent and you’d play another brick with garnet
