I think you should mention d.d. crow. Its being slept on but good against the meta decks and one of the only good hand traps for eldlich Prank kids = cat or the spell they dump with fansies Eldlich = eldlich or golden land traps Pk = whatever they dump with cherubini or torn scales Floowand = only target is the trap so it can book of moon you Swordsoul= tenyi monsters or tail target

I’ve always seen Shared ride > Droll, especially in the side deck and are deciding to go first. Mainly because it gives your opponent an option to continue their plays and let you draw +3 times (depending what you’re playing against) or doing nothing that turn.

Hi Cali, i'm new to Yugioh tks to your video. I'm playing Master Duel which has some differences with the tcg live format. May i suggest you making a similar video about handtraps and how to fight against the meta in Master Duel? Personally i play Timelord Stall deck and reached Plat 4 because it's easy to play .I'm struggling fighting against PK (Rhongo is so disgusting, Fog Blade), Eldlich (with early Skill Drain), Virtual World (True King of Calamities and Phantom Fortress), Sky Striker (Widow Anchor), Tri Brigade (Revolt, Shuraig), Drytron (omg Ultimateness, Orange light and 3 Eva is just ludicrous) , ... anything with infinite negates and banish. I try so many handtraps (there was a point I even added Mound of the Bound Creator and Ra's Sphere in just to prevent targeting and massive removal 🤣🤣) but it also brick my hand a lot and they couldnt even stop my opponent (they'd always had Called by the Grave at the very right moment when i was rarely lucky enough to have starting Dimensional Shfter). Pls help me, thank you!

Maxx C and Ash are staples, and Nibiru is a good inclusion to stop combo decks. Other than that, there's too much variance in a best of 1 format to suggest any other handtraps.

Im a prank kids player, 1. Ogre doesnt hurt. At all. So if u play against prankids, side out ogre, ash and veiler is what prankids player afraid of. 2. A good prankids player, wont summon rocket on 1st turn and yes, we still got the double raigeki without summoning it. 3. I usually only summon monster 4 times, so nibiru isnot the best HT against prankids. Veiler and ash blossom are the best choice.

Ogre is for the Brave engine, not for the Pranks themselves. Belle on Bow-Wow to prevent the protection is decent, too

As time goes on, Ash just isn't the go too hand trap it seems like it is. Sure it's generic enough, but honestly once per turn isn't turning off most decks. The others do turn off that opponent's plays, but only specific kinds. If Ash is the standard of say a 3 in a 1-5. D.D. Crow has a place when called by the grave is limited and you see Eldlich, Zombies, dark magician (you will on pro trust me) if you're playing dark heavy yourself its worth it in case you take the allure gamble too. It's problem is timing. God knows Konami loves making quick effects and running communism turn cycles. And there's meta it's just useless against like fluandreeze. (2) Ghost Ogre as said, shuts up sword soul which is enough of a reason in itself. But also slows down those God damn dark magician cockroaches, and needlefibrax as said. It just does a lot of things. (3) Effect Veiler is just so you have impermanence at six but this actually cripples sword soul even better than ghost ogre, really turns off a lot of extenders. (4) Lancea so much shit requires banishing you have to think really hard when to play it as that means you can't banish either. Which is a good floodgate but not when it actively is turning off your plays too without even having to try. (1) Ghost Belle has uses but I can't imagine where just necro valleying one time is gonna accomplish anything. Seems like a Red Reboot situation where you'll more likely find it too late or too early. (1) Nibriu is fun as hell trolling people with but I've seen people summon like 11+ times a turn. It doesn't shut off summoning addiction, it leaves a giant token you need an out too, by 5+ summons there's a good chance of an omni-negate, and you don't need 5 summons to establish a meta board with fluandreeze, sword soul, Phoenix Enforcer/Dragoon, hell I think Admancipator has it's omni negate by than... (1)

While testing Virtual World I saw that if you have an emergency teleport that you don't need and you want to use it on the opponent's turn it's almost never going to happen because your Shenshen prevents you from activating that, which is kinda unfortunate. I don't know if it's worth it to play it instead of a card good in going second
