I remember facing this guy on DB, unfortunatelly lost to him because I was playing a deck where every hand had 3-5 searches and he drew droll every game and there's no way to counter that card (if there was I would've obviously played it). He proceed to get super toxic and call my deck trash, as well as showing off his accolades as if I was asking, he wanted so much to prove his superiority he even claimed to win a ycs when there were no events because of the pandemic lol At first glance I didn't understand the hate the guy was getting, but after remembering this experience as well as seeing he being a piece of crap every time he was feature in DB Grinder, no wonder he is getting all the hate not just from what happened in this ycs, but for his past actions as well.

For the people accusing him of double summoning, he did not. He drew Lampsies for turn, sets it face-down on the table to check his GY for Dasher. Then flipped over the Lampsies to reveal it for Dasher's effect. Jerome then chained Anti-Spell Fragrance, etc. chains happens. You can clearly see this on the smaller player-focus cam. Sure, he may have misplayed other times, but the double summon wasn't one of them. Before more people hop on that train. Watch back, timestamp is 9:15:00

@@Zeno3020 they might have just forgotten it. Playing for two days in a row with very little sleep is pretty taxing. Also being in a FM for the YCS Champion title doesn’t make it easier. Everyone needs to calm down. From the suboptimal play you could really see that most of these „cheats“ most likely happened due to simple human error after a long long day

I don't know if the Unicorn in earlier rounds is intentional or anything. And yes the finals were riddled with misplays. But the Judges are most at fault. They were not strict enough at all and were not consistent with policy.

@@MobyDrip If he missed it, he's still making rookie mistakes as a YCS Champion. But I agree Judges are most at fault for not penalizing the players and catching these illegal plays. There were at least 3 that occured in the match and they have NO TIME EXTENSION. They really fumbled the bag.

But so far I'm liking eldlich won with it at locals few time. But right now working on despia, trying to master it. Only reason why people gave up on pranks at my local is because there 6 people i know there LOVES anti meta. But I usually side deck TCBOO or summon limit.

Judges are just as responsible if something happened on stream; I don’t agree w ruining someone’s moment because a mistake happened on everyones part. It’s up to both players to maintain game state whether he did something intentionally is up to konami to decide but I also don’t agree with someone being guilty until proven innocent. Props to both players for making it as far as they did.

The double normal summon thing was a dasher effect, it was not cheating, as for the other stuff with the DPE, it just probably went unnoticed. I don't think anything was with malicious intent, not sure why people are freaking out so much, we all make mistakes and not all mistakes can be called out in the moment.

He didn't double summon. Many people were quick to jump on the "double summon" train (including me).
