Played against him round 9. I was playing pure sky striker. He's a really nice guy and it was fun dueling with him. We were both pretty nervous but I drew ash blossom and infinite impermanence. Too good.

@@evanmatthewmelendez9034 then that's gg for sure... zombies are fragile in the sense that their normal summon is crucial. If the monster summon or effect is negated, then they have to pass turn :'( feels bad. Don't even get me started on when you don't have solitaire or uni-zombie, even worse.

this is why i always play 3 instant fusion and 3 called by the grave in zombies even if that sacrafices consistency, handtraps (I still can't deal with impermanence) are just too strong these days.

i honestly made a almost exact list different ratios on fraulein n a few cards went 3-0 at locals. good to know it'll be competitive at higher level events. dont see how i was the first like this is a good profile

Pretty good, I also thought about using Fraulein in the deck. Some things I'd change is that you don't have to run mask of restrict because zombie world already has a built-in virus mask of restrict effect that everyone forgets, also you should play super poly and use dragonecro nethersoul dragon as the target he takes 2 zombies so with zombie world on the field he is really easy to make using 2 of your opponent's monsters.

Pierre Shi yeah he can revive himself every turn with zombie world but if they pop it with jamming waves or afterburners second effect zombies is losing 9 times out of 10

@@pierreshi6102 thats easy to say. Summon sorceress is not that easy to summon first turn and skystrikers run a million handtraps as well to shut down any play you try to make. Naturia beast cannot be easily made in this deck. We just have to accept zombies will always have a very tough time against any meta decks beside thunder dragons.

Dragonecro nethersoul dragon. Its just 2 zombies, sports a nice effect & can take 2 of your opponents monsters as material if zombie world is face up in the field zone. Can't be negated in anyway & if you have a bloom in your hand, it should be gg. Massive plus.

Chan Kevin you've set both cards & you have zombie world face up in the field zone. As soon as your opponent has set up a board to start combo plays, you activate superpoly, using 2 of your opponents monsters as material. Once it resolves, you activate rivalry, since no cards can be activated in response to superpoly, but they can be activated upon resolution.

They usually have just ray in main monster zone, and it is preferable to activate rivalry before they link into anything. But I think that play works for most other decks.

Have you considered Eradicator Epidemic Virus? Once you lock your opponent off with the zombie world and warlords combo and use your Balerdroch effects then you can tribute him for Eradicator Epidemic Virus declare spell or if your worried about evenly go for traps. Now your opponent is locked out of their field, but also can't draw any spells or traps for 3 turns Assuming the game even last that long XD

not only can they not normal summon monsters that are non-zombie, they also can't special summon. If they normal summon, say, a machine monster, it immediately becomes zombie upon summon and they can't summon more stuff. Unless they have a walking MST they're stunned.

He says in the video ( 6:55 ) that Doomking and Vampire sucker make an infinite loop but for the life of me i cant figure out how its an infinite loop. From what I understand from reading the cards its during standby phase special doomking while vampire sucker is out, vampire suckers effect activates and you draw one card, her effect activates doomkings effect so you banish a card from the field or GY then.....whatelse to me it would seem to end there am i missing something?

Evan Ms the biggest concern imo is that Mezuki isn’t a dark attribute monster for Armageddon knight to summon so it limits the number of dark numbers to summon (bloom and banshee and maybe doom king as better targets) thus the gozuki and uni zombie do enough :O

Samurai skull is all you would need for zombies, it's literally armageddon knight for the deck, plus if it's destroyed you can ss a zombie from deck. Imo better than gozuki in some cases since it's on summon but gozuki synergizes with shiranui better.

I just find that it's slightly less dependent on the normal summon, I hate that. Zombie decks (and also Noble Knights) depend so much on that first summon, if it's negated then they're fucked.

I've been using deal with dark ruler in my deck it show me some pretty consistent plays.makes it easy for rank 8 and my opponent can't special summon berserk dragon from my grave. It's a quick play and it pulls him from my deck.

Alex Taylor because sucker lets you draw every time a zombie gets special summoned from grave, and doomking specials itself from grave every standby so as long as he is in the grave every turn (synchro, link, etc) you can just keep bringing him out from grave and drawing a bunch.

Just remember that they are all once per turn though. So the main goal is to get Zombie World out by whatever means necessary. Whether this would be Banshee, Terraforming, or simply from hand. Then the next ideal play would be to get Glow-Up Bloom in grave to do its effect and summon out Doomking due to ZW being on field. Then of course link off DK and whatever Zombie was out ideally Uni-Zombie and then summon Vampire Sucker. Then do whatever other plays ya got if applicable then pass. Opp: Draw, Standby, DK Summons, Sucker triggers Draw, and if applicable use DK effects

Zombie world only makes monsters on the field zombies so the monsters have in the hand are still their original type so you can't attempt to summon them even though they would have become zombies. This basically means whether or not your deck is compatible with rivalry, you are getting screwed unless you also have zombies

ZW only makes monsters become zombie when they hit the field/GY. If it’s from your hand/extra, it goes by the original type first. So you can’t summon anything that isn’t originally a zombie if RoW is active

Gustav FB Let’s say Zombie World and Rivalry are both out on the field. Your opponent has no monsters on their field. They summon, let’s say, a Spellcaster-type monster (because they have no monsters on the field they are unaffected by Rivalry). That monster hits the field and then becomes Zombie-type because of Zombie World. Now they are affected by Rivalry, and due to ZW, they are now in control of a Zombie, not a Spellcaster. They can only control Zombies, not Spellcasters. So if they have another Spellcaster in their hand and try to summon it, they cannot. They must first destroy either Rivalry or Zombie World. Now let’s say there isn’t any Zombie World on the field. The way Rivalry works is that if they manage to get another type of monster on the field, let’s say, a Warrior, they must choose either their Spellcaster or their Warrior to send to the graveyard. The reason the lock works is because if Zombie World is on the field, Rivalry forces your opponent to summon Zombies because they now control a Zombie after the monster hits the field. Summoning another monster would result in the control of two different kinds, which would be illegal under those circumstances. You must either destroy one of the cards or tribute your monster for another monster (whether link or tribute). It goes further because Zombie World prevents normal tributes from happening unless it’s a Zombie. So you can only link summon, and even then they will fall into the lock again.

Doom King still negates the hand traps ash and ghost belle, and the field spell is easily searchable by simply dumping banshee from deck to GY. Believe me, you don't wanna get stunned by Rivalry of Warlords and Zombie World.

Zombie World + Rivalry, I don't see how any deck can out this easily. Though tbf you'd have to draw Rivalry... Zombie World is more then searchable. If you can out it then you can't Dante. Or Beatrice. Or even attempt to summon a Danger monster after you have another monster on field.

@@moocow17 terraforming too cloggy, 3 zombie worlds already and banshee is an ez zombie world. Dump it and then banish to activate one directly from your Deck. Why would you want terraforming. Check out the cards and play the deck before yall comment terraforming. I run an Orcust deck and I don't need terraforming neither, since Galatea searches it directly from the deck.

They can't summon anything from the extra Deck that has an archetype specific requirement. So for example Cyber Dragons can't go into Panzer Dragon cuz it requires two machine monsters... And if rivalry of Warlords is on the field as well as Zombie World sense Zombie World only makes all monsters on the field and in the graveyard zombies they are locked out of all monsters in their hand, extra Deck and banish pile because rivalry of Warlords states that they can only control one type of monster and it would be a zombie because of zombie world

That’s quite a strange deck that started out really well and then crashed. I love a control/stun zombie deck but I think he could’ve utilized the deck moreso if he played the link climb version with danger

It only affects those on the field and GY, the monsters in your hand are still they're original type. So you can't summon them unless they happend to have zombie as well.

There's a fault in this deck. Rulings on DNA Surgery show that the restriction on Rivalry of Warlords only apply after a card is summoned. Zombie World + Rivalry of Warlords is not a combo because Rivalry of Warlords only sees all creatures as Zombies after they are summoned. That isn't a lock.

This is not true. There were lots of ruling questions about Gozen Match when Kozmos were released and they all pointed that you must have a legal target in the hand to Summon. If you banish Farmgirl to Summon Dark Destroyer while Gozen Match is on the field, you must have an appropriate monster such as Forerunner in your hand. The only reason why you can Summon Dark Destroyer instead of Forerunner is because at resolution there is no longer a monster on the field. You can't start a Summon or a chain without an appropriate monster to do so. Rivalry is applied in the same way.

Nah, it actually makes it better. Zombie World only changes types on the field and GY. When your opponent summons something, you flip rivalry and your opponent can't summon anything but Zombies.

@@Taintedmind you're misunderstanding the synergy of the cards, if rivalry of the warlords and zombie world are on the field and you're opponent has a monster on the field, it becomes a zombie and because no monsters in their hand are zombies( hypothetically if they are not also playing a zombie deck) they can no longer summon any other monsters

What are you saying. Your opponent can’t play more than one card because ZW changes cards on the field to zombies. Rivalry then stops them from playing another card type
