Watching Zexal for the first time, it's crazy. All of the stuff that Yuma went through was really sad. He grew up without his mom and dad for a long time, his sister stopped him from dueling forcing Yuma to duel behind her back. Worst thing was that people were teasing and bullying Yuma for his poor skills. But meeting Astral, finding and making all of his friends, was such an amazing moment for the boy. Yuma deserves a lot more love and respect. Especially since he was willing to make friends with his enemies, the Barians. Even though Shark and Rio turned their backs on him, he still considered them his friends. He even defeated a god, and a duelist who can draw any card that he wants to his hand. Feel the Flow.

@@ramirorincon7197 I almost skipped out on Zexal because I thought all the characters were kids. I am SO glad I took a chance! It made its fair share of mistakes, but the characters were unique and entertaining, the narrative was full of twists and turns, the music was great and the duels were full of so many ridiculous strategies and overpowered monsters! Like, Numeronius Numeronia has 100,000 Attack Points and if you don’t attack and destroy it on your turn, you automatically lose!! And Yuma, Astral and Shark STILL took it down!! Awesome! Zexal did overpowered correctly. Unlike...Arc-V.😒

@@GatorOne-in7hk I'm so glad to hear that. You're right it did have some downs , but it was so good. I couldn't agree more. That was such a good episode and the emotion was real. Zexal is the reason I got back into Yugioh. I took a break towards the end of GX and missed 5Ds when it came out. So when Zexal was Bout to premiere I was like "why not start from the beginning of this series. I also loved how the XYZ cards where black. They looked so cool. I haven't finished Arc V yet, but I did hear some things. But I am so glad that people are actually giving Zexal a chance and actually enjoying it 😊

@@ramirorincon7197 Yeah, the XYZ cards are still my favorite, especially (most) of the Number cards. To this day I still hope to get all the Numbers. I’ve got 25 of them so far, but that’s counting C80: Reqiuem In Berserk and C101: Silent Honor DARK. Strangely, I do not have Rapshody In Berserk, just the Chaos form. Also, I got Number 22: Zombiestein in an amazingly lucky fashion: from a library. Seriously. I checked out Volume 6 of the Zexal manga, and it was just sitting there inside the book. I asked someone at the front desk if I could take it and they said it was fine. What are the odds?! How did somebody else not take it previously?! I’m not complaining. I got a Number card for free!!

This was me and my best friends' favourite show when we were kids. I even bought a necklace of Yuma's key and I'm wearing it now! We learnt the theme song to season 1 off by heart and spent the whole time singing it together when we went on a school residential. All the other kids got annoyed with us but we didn't care cuz we were in our own world. Thank you for making this! I'm working on making a playlist for her for her 16th birthday and this is the absolute perfect track!

I think a reason the Zexal Community is so nice is because it had to go through the most insults of the protagonist and those who have gone through the entire series came out like a phoenix and flew (sorry had to refrence an attempt of a motivating speech in Season 1) but it also was that this was the beginning to many kids who learned that getting up and learning from our loss than to break down and cry at a loss made a lot of young duelists learn to overcome the obstacles that us now overcame easily plus it's a good theme song to be honest plus the only yugioh anime to actually have 2 theme songs in one show

That transition though 👀 I wish I had Yuma’s attitude when I was in high school. They literally tore me down before my life began. But we can all rise above it in the end. Far stronger than the bullies that tormented us. I was bullied into quitting dueling when my water deck was at its peak. I didn’t get back to dueling until after I saw the final episode of GX. Those lines that Jaden said before attacking slifer with Neos will always stick with me and so will these two amazing songs. So empowering and I needed these bad in high school. I still remember how happy zexal made me when it released. I wanted to be as happy and positive as Jaden and Yuma were. But life and people can really bring you down. I still remember trying to be as positive as Jaden was but man people can really tear you down. But believing and hoping in a better tomorrow helps us rise above it all. You will be surprised to find just how strong you really are underneath. I still don’t know why some OG fans hate zexal but just the theme songs alone are reason enough to love it. Plus some cool black cards aren’t too bad either 👀

5Ds is the best series and it’s not even close. Synchros being introduced in stores and on screen was the golden age of Yugioh. Zexal following up with Number cards and XYZ made it even better. Both great series

This was a very "back to basics" Yu-Gi-Oh arc. Everybody was well voice acted. I like that Yuma was a little bit inexperienced at least compared to the last three protagonists.

God i need to rewatch this series. I remember getting up on Saturday mornings to watch it. I remember being a really little kid and watching the original series reruns since that's what my older siblings grew up on, but after they grew up with, but this was the series that came out when i was getting to about the age my siblings were when they started watching the original and it stuck with me. Xyz is still my favorite summoning mechanic. Halfway to Forever is a banger on top of that

They really are. Zexal is pretty great and even tho the second half of arcv was...less than desirable, people act as if the first half also sucked. And it didn't, it was some of the best yugioh-material ever.

My childhood, I loved this show so much, Saturday morning every week, gave me alot of comfort when times got tough. I remember I'd wake up super early each week to catch it since we couldn't record it, I knew the first opening by heart. I heard it again not too long ago, and it hit different. Thanks for making this, I'm sure it means just as much to some others as it does to me You know, I never did get to see how it ended though, should probably get around to that at some point

I'd imagine we'd have a team up movie with Yuma (probably by himself, if not with Astral), Yuya (with all his other counterparts, and maybe Z-Arc) and Yusaku (who would probably find a way to be there as his avatar Playmaker, and maybe have Ai). I'd love to hear this in the credits
