@@ichisadashioko Oh godd, I've played Tsukikana last year so my memory is pretty 曖昧 xD Mmh, no I don't think so. If the whole changing the past was just Kanata's illusion, which he had put into the Manga, then it wouldn't had much meaning. I believe it happened both in the "altered" reality and the Manga. But don't trust me! I'm bad at remembering..maybe I should replay it sometime~ That idea with writing down notes from the VN is pretty cool! I'm also not sure about the Touka scene at the beginning with the gun, which she pointed at herself. My guess is that it's a prediction what would happen to Touka if Kanata didn't choose her. (SMALL spoiler) Because there's a reason adult Touka didn't appeared in the "after" part when you picked another heroine. Same reason she doesn't has an "adult sprite". (small spoiler end) It just shows Touka is definitely the central heroine..she's soo good~~ Btw did you played the other routes yet? Rein's route explains A LOT about the time change stuff. So I'd recommend doing Rein after Uguisu.

This is one of the vns I read more than once especially Touka/Uguisu/Rein's routes (Well I did enjoy Misaki's route but yeah it didn't have any scenes related to the real plot of the vn unless I missed some text prior to being forgetful). The vn OSTs are really good and mixes well with the moments but sadly some people didn't even try to continue this which is kind of understandable on some parts. (Not really sure since some people doesn't want repeated tropes I guess.)

Is this shit a nakige? Came across this while listening to some other toneworks song. Cant find much info on it on vndb without being spoiled. No sad endings. Not bittersweet. Just good ol wholesome happy endings like I can always expect from tome works. Does this deviate from that? If so I’m staying the far fuck away from it. Thumbnail giving me bad vibes like from 5 cm/s. I’m okay with sad stuff happening in the middle as long as the pay off is a nice happy ending.

Since there are various interpretations of nakige for some people, IIRC only 2 out of the 7 route falls to that category. So far it's all happy ending because of a certain event but that 1 of the 2 routes hit me hard on some way.

@@Ordine-ce6ee Ah I’m actually okay with nakiges (except if there’s violent content) AS LONG as the ending is happy. Like Clannad. I think all the endings were happy but it’s sad in the middle and I think only Fuuko had a less than ideal happy ending. Anyways you get the idea - from your explanation they all seem to be happy ends if you’re not trolling me. Thanks for the response 🙏 The sci-fi element + toneworks really are interesting but I’m just really apprehensive about feeling like shit after sinking 60+ hours in a VN because of a depressing end.

For the sad part of this vn, it only covers 1/4 of the time near the end and it's very much your classic tonework's routes assuming you've read their previous works. Although sometimes this vn is kind of confusing because of the weird writing as it's their first approach on sci-fi yet I find it enjoyable. Okay so about the violence, there's gunshots involved but that's it as a spoiler-free warning. Also I'm not a fan of trolling people so you can at least trust me about this ahaha

@@Ordine-ce6ee Gunshots is fine. I meant violent as in the nature of Subahibi/extreme sexual violence and physical violence. I’ll definitely have to check it out at some point. Thanks for assuaging my uncertainness. My reading ability I’m still working on but it would be a good opportunity to introduce some more sci-fi vocabulary to my repertoire.

I recently finished Touka's route. While I appreciate Toneworks' attempt to try something different from their previous works, the plot's narrative is inconsistent and confusing at times. However, as always, they nailed the romance/SoL aspect, which is why I love Toneworks' games in the first place. Touka is a fantastic character, and her character route is an emotional roller coaster. While she already has the best ending possible, I can't help but wish for a fandisk of Touka because (spoiler alert) she's missing for a significant portion of her supposedly route.

Totally agree here. I get why they gave Rein a FD, it made the most sense story-wise and they really rounded it up well, the romance was lovely too. It gave the perfect pure love feel. But Touka is still route & personality-wise my favourite heroine imo, she def. deserves the central heroine attention. Maybe I love her so much cause she reminds me of Hatsukois 1/1 Maya too..they are both very similar. I don't think she will get an FD sadly... right now I just want a new Toneworks VN, hopefully still this year?! I need a new one!
