I am brand new to your channel and absolutely love your videos. Yes I even have watched the ones that are over an hour long. Flew GWS planes years back (Beaver,etc) and while those planes were low quality, I loved flying and want to get back in the game. By the way, your camera crew wife is an absolute saint for hanging in through these videos and dealing with the work.

loved to see you going straight to the charger just after opening the box....thats just like me...get the thing charged otherwise its only for decoration...... your taking the house over with RC, you suffer from the same madness as i suffer from only my wife has told me to keep it to one room. You have a gem of a wife....and she is the camera crew.....all your birthdays came at once when you met her. you missed your signature entry into the video when you address your fans....which is always funny to see....

Thanks - you're right on about when I met my wife! She is the best thing that's happened to me, and I thank God for her. RC is great, but if you don't have someone to share your experience with, it's not the same. Just had a supporter over who was driving cross country to deliver the ashes of his wife to her family, so they could bury her...real sad, but true. If it weren't for Megan's support, almost none of this could be possible.

@@BrianPhillipsRC agree and its great to have someone to share the obsession with....we get on very well and she also comes out flying with me and ocasioally takes a video. i am in my sixties now...phew...and have flown this stuff all my life but only lately have i started to fly inverted and doing funnels and the works.....i can tell by your ability you could easily do the same but it would take a few hours on the flight simulator programming the old brain.....the brain is a phenominal organ... God knew exactly what he was doing when he gave us one and I guess now wants to see what we will do with it.

I’m glad someone else mentioned the blade Apache like Brian did. I have 2, a BNF and a RTF. They’re a handful, tight battery fitment and short flights, but Apaches are cool! I agree the handling of this looked similar to the Blade. I like the larger scale, maybe one day.

The Tx switch was pulled inside since the ring-nut had fallen off. We shared the footage of the repair too, but no biggie.

When I got mine it blew me away how amazing it looked they say its expensive yeah true it is but when the micro blade apache came out that was very expensive n very short flight time this one is 500mm long I had 10minz fly time amazing

Hi Brian I'm sure you can answer where no one else has, this version versus the gps, can you take off normally and not shoot straight up like gps version does? I'm assuming yes as it has a regular ratcheted throttle not springloaded in the center. And with gps version , can you take off gradually in scale manner when in manual mode ? Don't like it at all when it just shoots up to 6 feet or whatever . Thank you !

Man that is awesome helicopter but what do you think of the goosky e2 uh1 venom helicopter are you going to do a review of that one as I think it would be really good for you to do a review because you actually show us how to do this stuff like you did on this video I'm definitely appreciative of your time to show us this video what to do with the helicopter settings if yours isn't working right top man nice though that helicopter so so nice but I'm stuck with what to get this or goosky venom 🤔🤔 thanks for the awesome video and how to set it up what a top man awesomeness keep it up m8 definitely subscribe now for sure ✌️👊

@BrianPhillipsRC ya iv bein looking at these 2 helicopters and and stuck between them I love the look af the Apache but something tells me that the venom is gonna be the better of the 2 of them but man can't wight to see that and I think I'll hold now till I see your video on it but that Apache doze look so nice but so doze the goosky one I do like the othe helicopters as well like the coast guard 1 and the other Black Hawk which I think is army or navy awesome looking too but definitely the Apache or that venom can't wight my man nice work bro 👍

Both easy to fly. Both fly on same size lipos. Both have about the same flight times. Both handle grass well. Get what u like the look of. Chances are ul eventually end up with Both.

On the tx u can adjust the throttle curve I found flying 0.65.65.65.65.normal mode n idol up 1 I set to 0.70.70.70.70.70.

Brian, is it possible to set it up to lift off before half stick? If so, what should the throttle and pitch curves be to accomplish this? I fly scale. No 3D for me. My Black hawk takes off at 3/4 stick and my hands aren't big enough, I feel like I am chasing yaw and throttle control because the stick is too high, therefore I can't fly it and sits in the box. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I think you can use that size but flight times will vary. I assume you'd be looking at about 10 minutes or so worth of flight time.
