To this day and yes I have seen many anime, Yu Yu Hakusho still goes my favorite anime of all time. Idk why some people get angry you can have preferences but on a reddit post people were talking about their favorite animes and I said mines was YYH. I guess I hyped it up too much that it annoyed some people Idk. I didnt say anything rude about any other anime I just how the characters and mc were one of the best I've seen in any anime and that dub was so unique. I like many anime I see these days but I still Yu Yu Hakusho most of all. Nostalgia got nothing to do with it cause I rewatch the anime every year or so and its still a banger to binge. The line "its not a party till someone is on the floor" is still one of the greatest line any MC has ever said. I do believe tho that YYH would not be so popular with todays modern audience considering he was a bit of a crude and sarcastic guy and that seems to set off this generation.They'd have to change Yusukes character into something thats not him like a certain recent character that was remade that I'm just not gonna mention anymore. When you censor an old beloved character they're not even the same person no more.

You don't want that. Technically, the story of the manga goes a bit past the anime, but the last "arc" of the manga was intentionally badly written because people pressured the creator to keep writing more even though the story was over, and so he wrote an intentionally bad storyline to get it canceled. The story ended when the anime did, and that is what the creator wished. Now, I would not be against a remake to give it more modern animation, but it isn't NEEDED.

They'd basically be living their lives, there wouldn't be a story. And honestly, leaving it open ended is better long term because it promotes fan intrigue and fans try to write their own "after".

@@davidh7832 Eh, not really. I heavily disagree with him being the best villain, unless you mean he is the best PURE villain, but his punishment is eternity on the sinning tree. To have him "come back" cheapens that. That said, idk, there isn't much that goes on afterwards. Yuusuke has a side business and is trying to become ruler of demon world, same with hiei and kwabara, who they all end up with romantically is obvious for everyone BUT Kurama, who just isn't interested in that rn (And understandably so. He shows the intention of going back to being a demon completely once he isn't needed by his family anymore, and that means he won't be the same person. A relationship in that situation would be... painful, and more cruel that he would want to be). To me, where things are is pretty good. Now, if you wanted to bring them in for a new villain, there is plenty of opportunity for one without cheapening prior events. The human world has demons in it now, after all. But Yuusuke is one of the strongest demons to ever exist, what villain is a real threat to him? Pretty much JUST the ones he's competing with to rule demon world. No, I think the story was too well written, to bring in a part 2 in any way. There's just nothing to really add, at this point it's jsut people wanting to see the characters again, and that isn't a strong enough premise to really make a part 2.
