Game 1 yubel couldve shuffled for phantom with spirit and samsara, link with it and yubel for baby goddess, link down into requiem(link 1). Tag out for the fiendsmith and have the gy fiendsmith summon by shuffling a link, you can link 2 into sequentia and then shuffle back one of the fiendsmiths and a link for lacrimosa and then revive the 6 to make caesar and beat into ash and put them on top deck while you have follow up. Or you can access the unchained engine with excess bodies instead, huge ass throw

@1:20 you mean shuffle back OG Yubel (from hand) + Samsara (from GY) for Phantom. Then link Phantom + Spirit for baby goddess into requiem, tribute requiem for Fiendsmith#2, and shuffle baby Goddess for Fiendsmith#1 in GY. Requiem equip to either Fiendsmith and send itself + Ash into the GY, link Fiendsmith 1+2 for Sequentia, Sequentia shuffle Fiendsmith#2 + Requiem for Lacrimosa, Lacrimosa revive Fiendsmith#1, BP Sequentia (1200) + Lacrimosa (2400) + Fiendsmith#1 (1800). Lacrimosa + Fiendsmith for Ceasar. Ideally, they should have started with Lotus to bait the Ash there and immediately go for Phantom to disable a potential 2nd handtrap then play the Fiendsmith engine. Either top deck against Ceasar and Phantom, or go for the OTK if they use Veiler at any point (Phantom will pop spirit for Yubel, link Yubel away for Yama, Lacrimosa + Phantom for Muck to burn for 1200, Muck discard Sharvara to revive Lacrimosa)

Phantom of yubel and the goddess link 2 have not been confirmed in INFO. It wasn't in the OCG. Both of them were promos so we are in konami's mercy for when they release it in the tcg

I'm 99% sure, but you can use the Phantom as material even though it can't be used a "fusion" material. You're not fusion summoning, you just *special* summoning the Phantom by shuffling cards back. Technically not fusion material

nah it counts as being used as fusion material if you use it to perform a procedure like this. fortress and megafleet can't contact out monsters that can't be used as fusion material, for instance.

Short answer: No you can't, because it's still treated as a Fusion Material and Phantom has "Cannot be used as Fusion Material." (btw this is a condition that can't be negated, for example by Skill Drain) Long answer (official ruling): A Fusion Material Monster is a monster written on the card of a Fusion Monster, and which is needed to Special Summon or Fusion Summon the monster from the Extra Deck. Because of this, you cannot send "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon" from your field to the Graveyard to Special Summon another "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon" from your Extra Deck, since you are still using "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon" as a Fusion Material Monster.

Reason phanton of yubel being lvl 9 matters is because of nightmare throne. The destroy from deck tribute floats into a lvl 10

Iirc it removes itself as cost so you can't trigger throne from it.

I would guess it's for anime/lore reasons since this is an incomplete Yubel, hence 1 level lower than the original. About gameplay reasons, it makes rank 10 plays a bit more difficult (it would be broken as a lvl10), while Throne that you mentioned can recycle it if a lvl10 Yubel (or Spirit) get destroyed by adding this back to the extra deck (can't be summoned since it isn't added to the hand)
