I meant to start this drama ages ago but only got to start it recently mainly because I saw a MV someone had made of this couple on KZbin. I got so curious that I decided to watch it immediately. haha In the end I just had to marathon the whole drama in 1-2 days. :D
I know we're not suppose to like these two characters as they were evil to the core and this might be the first time I actually like a couple in which both characters are evil with no compassion. :DDD Weirdly enough, I did enjoy their scenes. They were so evil and you can hardly see them having compassion towards anyone. The only time they seem human is when they're together, especially near the end. I bet that was the first time Qi Luo sincerely cared and felt sad for someone in her entire demon life.
Anyway, thanks to this drama I found another new favorite actress! Sebrina Chen is still so young yet she was able to portray the cute/innocent side and the evil side so perfectly! I was actually impressed with her acting. Well, most of the cast did amazing in this drama anyway. ;P I'm definitely going to check out her future works in the future too.

I know they are the villains, but i just loved this couple. They had a bittersweet relationship. i fell for Zhang Ruo Yun in for this and I loved him in novoland, too. However i was left with the impression that all his dramas ends sadly...

Ikr. I don't think I've ever liked a villain couple this much but they somehow captured my interest. :) Too bad Zhang Ruo Yun won't be in the sequel or else they could have continued their love story. I'm still sad about that. :( It's not just his dramas that end sadly. Most Mainland Chinese dramas that belong to wuxia/fantasy/republic era category will have sad endings most of the time.

No problem. :) They're still filming it at the moment or may have already finished filming but it should be released next year. I'm also looking forward to the 2nd season. The only thing I'm sad about is that they couldn't include Zhang Ruo Yun in the sequel. I so wanted to see them reunite. Well, at least Qi Luo will return as the baddie again. I hope this time the drama will not have a sad ending like the first one.

Lol. His Vietnamese fans often make joke that Woe is Zhang Ruo Yun as in his every dramas, he is either sent to prison (15 years waiting for migratory birds, Sparrow, Medical Examiner - Dr.Qin), or dead (Wu Xin: The Monster Killer, Sparrow).lol

If you watch Novoland, you will fall for him, Chibiaya. He is very charming (I was after his other work after watching Dr.Qin) but couldn't finish the drama. Well, if you like romance, you will like it. I am not really into a romance genre.

Yes, most people prefer the other couple. They were cute but somehow I was more attracted to this couple. Thanks for your recommendation. After I saw this drama I went straight to watch The Legend of Green Hill Fox because it had this pairing. :D But I liked them more in Wuxin although Sebrina looked very beautiful in The Legend of Green Hill Fox drama.
