I did get that idea from discussions on multyplayer shooters, but I think it holds true in every form of player vs player gaming: It's important to make going against and countering a thing - be it a card, strtegy or board - as fun (or at least similarly) as executing it yourself. And depending on what we define a broken board as, it can go down to no one enjoys going against them if they are for example legitimately unbeatable to, "eh, it's annoying but throw some [whatever is a useful hard or soft counter] in it and it might work out" to "well this is exciting" Of course there's more to it because boards don't spring into existence and you can see the important part of the gameplay in preventing the board but I digress. TL DR; Need to define what counts as broken for the conversation, it's often less fun to go against things that strike above the power balance, it's important that strategy and counter strategy are both fun.

I don't like building broken boards I like playing unique back and forth duels. It would be nice to have tournaments for it. Honestly goat is okay but it's not what i like. There was a format when tiras and adreaus first came out that you could play anything and it was viable. Every duel was 8-15 turns or longer it actually came down to how well your deck was built (top deck wars) or how well you played around the 1 copy of heavy storm or 1 copy of mirror force/dark hole.

Instead of trying to tell someone to go play another game maybe we should focus on actually improving the game we prefer to play why should I have to switch what I want because others are stupid an blind to real problems. That's such a trash mentality when it's better for everyone if we had the ability to support legacy formats since they obviously won't handle the inherent problems with current Yugioh. We could push for something that will still make them money but bring tons of players in/back. At my locals all anyone really plays is goat minus the whales that can afford droplets. So imagine how happy those players would be an how much money they could generate through making tournaments for that attendance would be high too. Hell even yuginono has advocated for this he carries around a goat binder.

"Synchro's didn't force players to play tuners." I was riddled with flashbacks to Stardust Dragon, Goyo Guardian, X-Sabers, and Fabled when they first arrived in the synchro era. Heck, pretty sure we had a few years where if you didn't have a tuner in your deck you didn't own a deck. Heck, pretty sure monarchs had tuners back then just because many of the small ones had self summoning effects to allow for tribute fodder. But as I write this I'm starting to realize that this might have been a joke in and of itself which it just flew over my head.

@YugiNoNo: I do have suggestion to make it less broken the rules update. If you only used Xyz, Synchro, and fusion, the first one summoned from the extra deck most go in the Extra monster zone, the other one after can go to the main monster zone, even if it his a pendulum monster that started in the Extra monster zone. If a link monster his in the Extra monster zone, or main monster zone(because of being summoned by monster reborn, or move their because of a card effect) Xyz, Synchro, Fusion monster have to be summoned from the extra deck, where the link monster points to, or the Extra monster zone if empty, if all are full including the link monster points too, you cannot Xyz summoned, synchro summoned, or fusion summoned to a main monster zone that his not being pointed by a link monster forgot to mention the opponent only have to follow this rules if your link monster points to the opponent monster zone, and a link monster can only point to your opponent zone if it his in the Extra monster zone and also your opponent have to follow does rules if your opponent as his own Link monster on the board. Hopefully they go that way strait off, but maybe you can send that suggestion to konami, if it his not too late. the fix will still do what it his suppose to do, but it will not make it accessibly broken when combine with Link monster.
