If i activate accession can i discard both fusion material from my hand without banishing a monster from my field or gy? Also monsters on my field get banished if i want to use them for fusionsummoning right? At first i first only banished the monsters which i used from my gy. Thanks in advance 👍🏻

If you fuse from hand to summon a dark world fusion monster you can discard them. For any other type of fusion monster or location they must be banished.

Definitely appreciate this facts. I had a guy at locals playing with Dark Worlds try to cheat. He even went so far as to withhold card information when playing with danger monsters by keeping said cards in his hand instead of putting them face down on the table to identify them!

@@LegacyCrusaders my bad. My opponent was playing with dangers in his deck. He wanted to do a die roll, but I requested he places those cards face down for me to pick one. He got upset and decided to hold the cards in his hands instead of putting them down on the table.

Die roll is more fair then you picking. You can track the mix, you can't influence the roll. Personally I let them pick, but I also don't show them the danger, I'm either discarding it, or summoning it, so they'll see it when it resolves.

@@LowellLucasJr. He should put the cards face down as a courtesy so its clear which card is which. However I would never let someone pick the card by hand, I always request the use of a dice roll.

Or I need to discard it by its own effect? 2. About Genta's effect: "If this card is banished, and you control a "Dark World" card: You can Special Summon this card.", this "Dark World card" has to be a monster or having in the field, for example: "The Gates of Dark World" or "Dark World Archives" triggers its effect?

When the opponents monster, normal spell/trap effect becomes “your opponent discards 1 card”… does this count as your opponent making you discard one card? Or is this simply, me making my opponent make me discard one card?

It counts as if it was your opponents effect.

So for archives 1. Can you use its second effect by using its first effect? 2. If that’s the case, does the discarded monster’s effect activate before Archives second effect? For example can I activate archives, send breaux to the GY, chain 1 archives second effect, chain 2 breaux, then search for Silva or Grapha before discarding to draw 2. Sorry if I make no sense just getting back into yugioh after 10 or so years

Yes effect 1 will trigger effect 2 in a new chain. The order of the next chain will depend of if the discarded dark world was mandatory Mandatory triggers go on the chain first. Most of the old ones are mandatory, i think new reign beaux is optional, so you should be able to choose the order, as I'm pretty sure archive is optional as well. If the effect says you can, it's optional

Your first questions is literally answered as the first thing covered in this video. 00:15 about having no monsters for the second question which is answered 07:35 explaining how genta works and if it would trigger archives and if archives triggers itself and which cards would trigger archives. Please watch the video before asking questions directly answered in the video. It implies you clicked the video didn't watch it at all. You could ask this question in a forum, facebook group or my discord server directly without hurting my video or channel at the same time. Clicking a video about a topic and not watching it is bad for me in as it adds a view with no watch time and tells the algorithm not to serve this video to others as people who click on it don't actually watch it, so if your just going to videos to ask questions please try somewhere it doesn't hurt the person your asking, like a facebook group, or a discord server, where they're not driven by an algorithm. @@LegacyCrusaders But I watched the video and the part with a spell even 2 times. I’m asking because in Omega simulator I was able to activate that spell. So I started looking for some info and I found that activativating spell card and using its effect is a different thing. So it wasn’t absolutely clear for me how does it work, that it is why I asked in the comments to be absolutely clear about this question

If your asking can you place it face up without a dark world on the field, then no I did not answer that question anywhere, to activate a card it must do something, but if a card doesn't do anything when its activated generally you can at a minimum place it face up so yes you can, if your asking if you can use the effect without a dark world monster, the question was answered in the video, if your asking if it would trigger itself to draw if you used it the question was answered in the video.

I see I miss interpreted your initial question about placing it face up, reread the question, and I see it was a legit question, it didn't look like one on my initial quick read through, my bad, I get questions that imply not watching often enough its annoying thing to deal with. The second effect can't apply to placing it face up because it doesn't send a fiend to the graveyard.

Correct me if im wrong. If I use Dark World Accession to fusion and get hit with Ghost belle. I can then use the GY effect to add back by discarding a DW monster. And since the activation was negated I can reuse Accession again?

Nope, "use" once per turn can't be reattemped in the same turn. It's not an you can "activate "once per turn effect.

When it says "discard one dark world monster" does that mean from hand or field or even deck?

Discard means to send a card from hand to gy unless a card makes cards that are sent to gy to elsewhere in which case would mean hand to that place, i.e. under macro discarded to gy but redirected to banished. Cards sent to gy from hand are not necessarily discarded, but cards that are discarded are considered sent where they were discarded to.

"Efecto Veiler" no se puede usar en el efecto de Silva ya que se activó en el cementerio, por lo que se resolvió en el cementerio. Entonces, cuando puedes usar "Veiler", Silva ya se ha resuelto.

OK so quick question. If darkworld archives read instead: "You can discard 1 "Dark World" monster, THEN "Dark World" monsters you currently control etc..." Would this be usable with no monsters on the field? I know the wording is weird if changed like this but I know "and" and "then" effects work differently and I'm just curious if this small change would change how the card works.

Then, just means that multiple actions would be done in sequence, rather then simultaneously. But both parts are still mandatory part of the cards effect. Not as in a mandatory effect, as in you can't activate one without the other.

Rlative to the card "archives", the first effect reads: "you can discard a dark world monster, and if you do, ..." this means that the discard is a cost so the effect of the dark world monster doesn't trigger, or isn't a cost? It's an effect, there is no semi colon to indicate a cost, it also has an, and if you do conjunction, which should only be found in an effect.

Most cards with psct are written like this Activation condition: cost; effect Some have no cost, some don't list a condition as it is implied by the card type, like being a equip spell means it has the condition during a main phase when a face up monster is on the field. And if you do is a conjunction as to how to resolve the effect and is part of the effect section of the cards.

I love the deck but mostly it looses to 1 or 2 interruptions. Mostly I can't do anything if let's say the special summon of silvva was negated.

It'd really help if people learned to read and accurately comprehend the cards. Idk about others but all of these points seemed very obvious except the Bystial summoning under Necrovally. Some people need to take an English course.

Always happy if I shined light on at least 1 piece of info someone didn't know. The degrees to which different players know things is extreme, they know nothing, everything, something in the middle, they choose to read things that are clearly different as the same, things that are clearly the same as two totally different things. I'd love to only share obscure info, but the game and rulings haven't technically changed much, and new cards can only be so different, I can't invent enough truly obscure things to make a full video. They're all just variations on things that have come before. Mostly they're all in the ocg database, as a precedent on another card.

You're only saying that because you're familiar with YGO's problem solving card text and rules. Saying people need to take an English course is not a guarantee that they will understand the text if they don't know concepts and psct. English isn't my first language and some words do slip my mind and make me misinterpret the effects and even if there's no misreading, it can still be confusing because of how English works cause sometimes, some sentences can be read to mean another way unless you're familiar with the game.

That first question is kinda dumb. Dont let people lie and say there are no such thing as stupid questions. lol Frankly, if you dont have a dw monster on the field, youre not playing dw right. I have 27 monsters in my deck, and only like 8 of them are not dw. There is always a way for me to get a dw monster to the field. Stop diluting your decks down with 10+ dangers and other shit. It doesnt need nessie and shit anymore. I literally use 2 bigfoot, 1 bird and one mothman, and thats it for dangers. Then I run a zephyros and 3 zalamanders.

No, he's a trigger effect, not an ignition effect, it has to be summoned in the chain following when banished while a dark world card is on field, not whenever you want it to after that happened.
