It's cool to back in time and watch this. Interesting to see how far both Team Sam and Burning Abyss have come since then. Glad we are back to being able to play the deck in this style in 2022, but better!! Nostalgia at it's finest. I remember that, Yea, Tellarknights were better in that format, but Burning Abyss was the HOT deck that the cool kids played.

Great build! I recently started playing triple Back Jack as well- amazing card, only card in the deck that gives you real advantage. What about Draghig to combo with Back Jack? Easier access to Fire Lake. Minus one discard trap for Allure of Darkness? Also a good combo with Draghig.

Quick question; How much would this cost (net cost)? I like the idea of the deck and I'm down to spend money. I've read that most of the money is spent on the Rank 3 XYZ which is like 240 for a set. If you could reply as soon as possible, that would be appreciated. Great video!

XSnIpAkIlLa101x The Main Deck can be cheap if you are willing to get the Trap cards in Common rarity. The expensive card is Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss.

You can't use De-Fusion on an opponent's card because it says " if all the Fusion Material Monsters that were used for its Fusion Summon are in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon all of them." but the fusion materials are in your opponents graveyard.

that's why you play it during your turn. the idea is so they don't get the spell/traps back. you really aren't concerned whether you have shaddolls or not. you can still play it, but you just aren't getting back the shaddoll monsters. its just an out to winda and construct.

a good combonation with this deck would be lightsworns. because you're milling everything so you can get your combo cards to the graveyard

iron wall isn't good in ba, since you run barbar you can't banish and burn for game, lancea is a lot better and for ritual beasts play poisonous winds.

Inconsistency is all, I recently cut BLS myself. It's a bad mill and generally doesn't advance your game state because most good opponents save their effect negation for Tour Guide, BLS, and monster floodgates, which means it will often get Fiendish Chained and thus prevent you from playing.

Sadly, the deck inherently has none (except for Terminus, which isn't a good card). Unless it's a Towers Turbo build, you can usually Nightmare Shark + Barbar for game if Towers drops mod-late game. If Towers drops early, just scoop.

TeamSamuraiX1 sam, in all honesty I would take out 1 nightmare shark for 1 giga brilliant. You will never need more then 1 shark and making a giga brilliant to buff itself to 2100 and Dante to 2800 defence is great.
