For everyone who is confused with this deck, this deck is made for Goat Format. Goat format is based on cards before/on the April 2005 Banlist, which is why cards like pot of greed or morphing jar are allowed to be played. That is also the reason why duels for this format take long because it requires a more conservative and decisive approach rather than going all out in one turn. But to sum it up, it's basically when yugioh was "yugioh"

Many Goat players play the format without Exarion since it came out at the tail end of the format (and it made a bunch of cards obsolete).

For non-Exarion decks, things like Enraged Battle Ox (for piercing), Asura Priest (to blow through opponent's goats and recruiters), and D.D. Warrior Lady (Warrior Lady more so since Sangan can search it) are good options. Exarion is a terrific card, but in many online circles, it is not allowed. EDIT: Personally, to replace the 2 Exarion, I would use Warrior Lady and Skilled Dark Magician. WL is searchable via Sangan (and ROTA if you side it) and is spot removal and can add to the mind games. Skilled Dark is a big boy with 1900 atk so it can crash into Airknight Parshath, sends itself into the grave with its effect to help make BLS live, and it's just more consistent overall than Asura Priest which is only more useful in wiping out goats and recruiters (which makes Asura Priest a good side deck option).

It's not max rarity, he's missing Super Serpent, Super Books and Ultra Goats, which would add another $1000 or so to the price. He's not far off though and he has the Jar so yeah it's over 1000. Full 1st ed max rarity is over $2000.

You should play Flame Ghost as a LV3 fusion as well, only 1000 ATK but he's a DARK-attribute which can help with BLS, Dragoness is a WIND which is irrelevant.

ThemFilthy Metronomes hmm...I believe the format order was Goat, recruiter chaos with last will, then Phoenix format, zaborg format, then meta got banned. Phoenix wasn't good in the early goat deck. I was ranked 4th in MA at the time. People are more creative now with old decks, back then it was just one deck with one or two tech choices, then empty jar/cyber, time seal, I remember getting out of that by discarding one thunder dragon to search for another lol.

its not that good, airknight still draws if you get rid of it with ddwl, bls removes ddwl or if you crash your ddwl in to bls you lose 1500, it cant attack tor and tor can suck it up if they have bom or tsuku. Its really not that good in reality.

blurry it's just based off of the card Scapegoat. This combined with Metamorphosis made Thousand Eyes Restrict, which helped control the boars. Hence Goat Control.
