Sam, have you ever consider playing dimension guardian over safe zone? They've similar effects, dimension guardian doesn't protect you from targeting effects, but it does protect you from self destruction effect, and monster can attack directly, it also protect you from your own card effects such as double-edge sword technique, just use double-edge sword technique to summon shien, and equip shien with dimension guardian and it won't die during the end phase

For some reason I feel that Sams either holding back not trying or just bad with this deck-list I mean LOOK AT LIFE invoker can special out Kizan from deck So it's kinda a good card in the deck also where is the speedroid engine the extended version with terrortop taketomborg and red-eyed dice (also the one maxx c and upstart are both kinda needed to help the consistency of the deck but those two cards aren't as needed) having those three speedroid cards make the deck sooo much better it gives the deck access to totem bird at least but also invoker is so much easier to summon out with them in also having them in gives you easier access to CRYSTAL WING in six sams if you don't think that any of that sounds too good here are some of the combos terrortop plus asceticism special out terrortop search taketomborg special out taketomborg xyz invoker summon out Kizan with invoker asceticism out zanji and make a rank 4 (going off subject what is with people UGH DONT YOU KNOW ZOO IS FOR EVERYBODY you can make broadbull with any two level 4 monsters then rank broadbull up into drident you could do any number of others while ranking up to give drident more xyz material so why not If you can handle taking one other card out of your extra deck you could almost just replace diamond dire wolf altogether) maybe broadbull to drident here's another combo terrortop plus kageki plus kagemusha special terrortop and taketomborg normal kageki to special kagemusha from here you could either make totem bird shien (the obvious play) or you could xyz into invoker special out Kizan then synchro into trishala there are a few other plays you could do with level sixs and stuff but I felt like these two plays were the best onto another combo terrortop plus kagemusha special out terrortop and taketomborg then normal summon kagemusha (meaning just get out kagemusha some how) this would be the time you would do any other plays that you wanted to do then tribute taketomborg to special red-eyed dice red-eyed dice makes terrortop level 5 then synchro into stardust charge worrier (oh by the way you need to have stardust charge worrier in the extra deck) draw 1 then synchro stardust charge and kagemusha into CRYSTAL WING and so this combo is two cards terrortop and kagemusha for two cards Crystal Wing and one card you drew off of stardust charge so pretty good so after all of this long text I leave you people trying to make six samurai decks with the above wisdom to help you make and design you six samurai decks

I dont know much about six sams but i think if you cant afford 1 more solemn strike and 1 more raigeki then i think you should go for instant fusion + norden would be good for this deck

You should try running clashing souls for shien, plus it's a good board wipe.

overall, not a bad deck profile, although i find the 3rd double-edged a little bit risky, considering the fact you run plenty of draw power, so finding 2 of them isn't really that hard and when i've tested 3, the 3rd tends to be bricky. You could run maybe 2 dojos as well, i find that really helps turbo out kagemusha for plays, but i guess if this is more control orientated, it's not that necessary, but it helps get to naturia beast a hell of a lot faster

I personally dont like spirit in the deck even though he helps generate advantage unless you ran dojo because you could consistenly get to spirit. Dojo in multiples though is inconsistent. Phantom knights sword is better in terms of beefing up plus can be used in the damage step as well as Phantom knights wing. Both cards can be twined but sword could have multiples equipped to a shien making him 4900 and you dont have to use your normal to use it unlike spirit. I know you appreciate cricitism and accept new ideas!

Pretty good deck profile but I'd cut backs to the wall and a doubled edge for 2 desires.

You'd think, but you can't really afford to banish the combo pieces... I mean, yeah, plenty of search potential, draw power already, but the desires end up fucking a Six Sam player (in general) more than it helps. You only have 3 Tuners in the deck. Playing control, I personally feel like it's a better idea to have a flexible approach and Backs/Double Edged provide that, because Six Sam don't have any other recursion.

If you use the Double Edged Sword Technique to special summon them in order to synchro summon Shi En, do you still take the 800 damage which came from the ATK of elder and kagemusha which are sacraficed in order to synchro summon Shi En during the end phase?

Sane no you don't take damage because you take damage when you tribute them at the end phase but since you already tributes them you don't tribute them at the end phase so you take no damage
