I just got into YGO this year and my first deck was a hand me down shaddoll structure build from my friend who introduced me to the game. Now Fire Kings is the second deck I’ve built in my own, and I was so stoked when saw people floating the idea of the schism/winda package for this deck

I really like the dogmatic package not just because it's cheaper than the $130 card you need 3 of lol. Also the Shaddoll package is very interesting in this deck. It gives you another play to use. I used it recently and it's very good.

Quick correction: Nadir can aalso he negated by Ghost Belle. It never comes up, but the effect can also add baack from grave, regaardless of whether you are adding from grave or deck, either ash or belle can be chained.

Nice insight in the interaction. I have a couple of questions: -what is ok to replace with a copy of TTT? Or maybe a Called by the grave in the main deck since veiler, ash and shifter hit very hard (even if it is not the end of the world) -do you consider playing Fleurdalis viable? I rather cut Titaniklad and play a Secure Gardna to secure a extra deck monster in gy when hard drawing Maximus Maybe keeping Fleurdalis is still nice in case we want to activate another Nadir Personally I'm not into the heatsoul engine, but rather play Fossil Warrior and Fossil Machine, Ambrowhale is nice to reborn a Ferrijit or steal something from the opponent And last but absolutely not least, always remember about YuGiOh' strongest monster: Time. You gotta play that GRENOSAURUS GIGA-CANNON BOYY burn those Lps

I like using Fleur gives you a free summon should you draw most of the time and non target negate is always nice. TTT can fit in, in place of some HTs if you wish. Personally don't think secure is worth the space, it would be a spercific line of events for you to need It tbh as you can always pop almiraj with fire king island still allowing you to combo off and set up max with out losing a slot to Secure. In regards to called by I think it's such a sacky card that is not worth playing as I'd personally much rather try to play through boards/interruptions than hope I have the 1 of and my opp has draw a card I need to stop or lose, which in most cases is only shifter and that's limited to a select few decks.

instead of garura you can send tri-brigade ferrijit its cheaper than garura and you can also draw a card but than u need to shuffle one card back into your deck (from your hand)

Great video! Any good reason to keep Bucephalus? Seems like it can be left out to give space to Zeus, Anima, a Knightmare card or IP

Bucephalus is a bigger target if you decide to play punishment. It also means you can chain block the 2nd target you send if you want, so for example sed Buc and shuraig, then you can CL 1 shraig and CL Buc to send something like ferigitt or in the schism case you can block the search for it. Its not a full on staple if you dont plan to play the other cards mentioned, but its nice so send you alternative options.

With the shaddoll package i suggest to play another fusion with apka and winda, so u can add schism by apka and send it, so by maximus u send 2 monsters, including the 3th shaddoll, and it will add back schism Basycally, doing this u don't have to send 1 card from your hand to keep schism, u just add it back

Sadly wouldn't work if you still need ponix as you have to send Gurua as your first from nadir, then a route to shuraig from maximus meaning you only have 1 more send. A 2nd doll is good in a grind however weather that be a 2nd winda or a construct

Is this the best version of the deck without sinful spoils? For instance, I have all of the meta staples from the last 2 years, except sinful spoils and s:p little knight. With that in mind, is there anything you would change to raise the decks level?

Comes down to personal preference, there is a cheaper sinful engine you can use with the dogmatika should you wish to make this a bit more resilient to hand traps, just posted that on the channel.

Interesting build, I play Fire Kings-Dogmatika but with Super Poly and chuck in targets for it in Extra Deck (and for Maximus). Then bunch of stuff to facilitate Accesscode Code plays, I might need to try this build out though.

You might already be on this but if you're playing super poly with dogmatika you can pitch predaplant chimerafflesia off of maximus and search the super poly next standby (maybe worth an instant fusion too if you already have the super poly, could go thousand eyes restrict and relinquished anima for huge board wipe potential).

@McKayCameron can go 1 better and play alba lenatus so you can search any normal fusion spell in EP instead Like BF or Instant. Plus you could always add in a cheeky albaz so you can search that from titaniclad and clear a Dlink board

@mj-rim yeah I left out the "normal" part as was referring to stuff like instant and BF, For super poly chimera is good and probs better to go that route as 3 super poly in main can get cloggy if opp isn't running into it so you can put the other 2 in the side.

You can adapt the HT line up depending on the environment your taking it to,for prosperity you could reduce ponix n sanctuary to 2 but the sanctuary drop could be risky

I feel tribrigade is more versatile in the combo department and can play through more. But Dogmatika has more space for hand traps so can crack back better

@@zephyrwargamesyugiohthe dogmatika package is smaller engine than tribrigrade. Nadir servant can break boards. I am currently testing tri stuff with the deck and I will test the dogmatika engine too. I need the garua.

Gurura can be any Tri type extra deck with 1500 or more attack. Sadly shuraig is a must as he's the ome that gets you ponix

I do like dogmatika + winda board winda will always be a problem but I was doing some hypothetical moves and a single fenrir would threaten this board which is kinda crazy! you would be forced to board wipe when fenrir is summoned because because it can attack over winda & banish field spell in the process and blow up the board Than they can play after that.

Sadly so, however when you can build this from 1 card you still have 5 others to work with Inc the draw from Garura so that's 5 options to imperm/veiler or other interruptions to protect the board

If Fenrir banish the field spell face down your board does not get destroyed by island. Ruling states banished face down cards are unknown this does not trigger. Don't let them cheat u

Dale mate, if I don't have Bucephalis and Garura, is there a way to make the Nadir combo to search Ponix with Shuraig still work? I think you mentioned something with Ferrijit in another video?

Yeah so you send ferrijit off of nadir, Banish ferrijit for maximums Maximus send shuraig. Shuraig search ponix

Thanks, so the reason for Fleur is You search it from nadir if you already open maximus, Or you search/summon it from Titaniclad. Plus if you search it you can summon it during opps turn and non target negate one of their monsters if maximus is still on the board.

Hello I have juste one question. What is the purpose of Hiita in the deck because juste for search you have to wait for your opponent to destroy it It seems very slow but every one is playing it so I might don’t understand the card

Mirror match or in most cases opp will have a fire in GY like ash so you steal it and you can link climb, from that point its up to you if you go into appolusa, or selene into accesscode and other options

Please help me out and explain why you can Garunix eternity AFTER you summoned Winda. I thought you locked the speacial summon since you special summoned winda on your opponents turn, then you can pull out garunix eternity???

Winda dosent count towards the special summon limit, its only while she is on the field can she count a special summon

I have a few questions: 1. Why are you running no little defensive cards like TTT, CbtG? I thought they would be very helpful especially when the combo is reliant on Ponix and if you open Nadir you have the full combo and the rest of the cards can be either hand traps or defensive cards. 2. No Prosperity? I'm kinda torn on this one, cause the card is very good and doesn't really contradict the deck since you don't really need a whole lot of ED monsters. But then again the deck is so consistent it maybe doesn't even need it. Or do you not play it cause you have 3 additional ED monsters as combo (Apkallone, Winda, Bucephalus) and banishing 6 ED cards kills utility and ED tools. 3. Why do you prefer Shadoll package over Arc Light + Sauravis? Shaddoll is just additional gas which I mean it's useful but maybe Sauravis could be the better choice cause it gives you protection from Imperm and veiler? Anyways great video however some of these are some things that I wonder about.

1. Personally not a fan of CBTG its so situational and I'd rather build the deck to be more consistent at playing through HTs than trying to stop them. TTT can easily be added, a lot of people try to play around it but it can be useful. 2. You can play prosp if you want, comes down to personal preference as I quite like the draw from Gurua in the Nadir combo and if you use talents it gives you thatdraw option. 3. Yes suravis protects from targeting but you shouldn't need that as you have kirin to dodge targeting on you Fire King cards and your only going to get suravis after you've nadired so that target protection becomes less relevent as they will probs use a imperm on veiler on maximus before you get saruvis, the winda lock is just all round stronger and a lot of players struggle to out it, but it's inclusion comes down to personal preference and you can adapt as you see fit. Hope this helps

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh Thanks for the reply, this will give me a bit to think about! 1. Yeah CbtG is a 1 of but I still think it's too good to not run. Also how do people try to play around TTT? You either activate a handtrap or not and if you do TTT can be activated, or am I missing something? And how exactly is this build playing through HTs if you always want to resolve Nadir and Ponix and most cards like Imperm, Ash, Veiler just negate them and don't destroy Ponix so you can't trigger other Fire Kings? 2. I probably won't run Prosp, there is not really any need since the deck is so consistent. 3. Fair enough, yeah I figured that but Sauravis can protect Ponix which is the most important thing. But yeah the Winda lock is always very strong and hard to break unless you get Lava Golem or Sphere Mode Thanks again for the reply, all the best!

With CBTG at 1 the consistency just feel not worth it to me unless you play that and instant fusion for millenium eyes as it relies on your opp having a HT that is worth stopping and it can't stop imperm which does the same job. Not to mention most competitive decks are playing multiple HTs so stopping 1 is just a waste most of the time. For TTT it's better going 2nd however most board are backed up with HT if not 1 or 2 omni negates, so you need to bait those out first and then continue through with TTT to get maximum advantage. Going first again it's OK but the pace of the game is such that if you don't get monster HT (imperm) still an issue then you still go no where with TTT and either get OTKed or have little resource left to crack back. 3. With suravis like I said it's kwl as it protects ponix but kirin does that anyway and that's more consistent, Ultimately it all comes down to personal preference some ppl prefer CBTG etc some prefer to use that space for more power cards, that's what makes deck building fun is they can all be different

Tho I will probably continue using CbtG, I will consider using the Shaddoll package instead of Sauravis cause yeah it feels like the deck needs a bit more power going 1st, the resource managament is fantastic and consistency is very good, however the current end board is kinda weak and Shaddoll helps that

Sadlys isnt a replacement for Shuraig its the main reason for the dogmatika engine, its quite cheap so defo order it.

Why would you send Bucephalus and not just Shuraig? You could save one slot in the extra deck right? I mean Bystials can just banish the Apkallone to prevent Winda. Is there a real reason why you should play Bucephalus?

The idea of nadir is to get acess to ponix, so if you don't get to nadir direct you still have your natural routes of ponix, sanctuary, island to get you there.
