in your first combo, you should special summon Shuraig with Kerass effect, that way you will have 1 more monster on board. in the end link away Kerass and Garunix for S:P for example. this will also help putting Garunix in the GY ro trigger its reborn effect

Depends if you have the rest of the engine, The ideal engine is 3 wanted, 1 witch and 1 Origonal Sin just because they give you the most resource with the least investment to get to Ponex. If you just have the 1 witch consistency will be a lot lower but may be worth running to get you to Origonal Sin

Haihai! I know I’m five months late, but as I recently bought 3x the structure deck, I found my way to this video and had a few questions :3 First, I noticed in the combo demonstrations that Arvata and Rangbali both didn’t show up except as fodder. Would it be fine to cut these for either more copies of Barong, more Tri-Brigade engine pieces, or even more non-engine pieces like disruption? Second, given that a new banlist was released in the previous five months, as well as a number of new cards with the recent sets, does this deck still hold up? Are there any changes you’d make if you were to rebuild this deck now? Thanks a bunch zephyr :3

Hi, thanks for watching. 1 - yes cut Rangbali, but not avarta that one is much more important. 2 - deck can still perform, you can either play the tribrigade version or a more controlled version with Branded. The most competitive version is snake eyes but that's a big investment.

Also I think you forgot to mention, if you link away bearbrumm and two other materials into zealantis you can make a zealantis lock :D (bearbrumm locks you into special summoning only tri-brigade monsters)

I believe there is a better frak plaus a bbw combo that the one you did even if you dont have another card you can do the route by banishing 4 to summon ferrijit for more extension and plays, still searching ponix

You can do a route without the discard for Kerass, but to do this it will eat up your normal so even though you serach Ponix you wont be able to get it to the board. It would still be a 2 card combo with pretty much the same board.

What are your thoughts on 3 original sinful spoils snd 1 Ash? Since Ash can search ponix, having the extra body on board for link plays seems pretty good

The reason for 2 is because its so easy to get to ponix without using your normal through the tribrigade engine so you don't want to rely on OSS to much, it's more so an alternative if you don't see the Brigade engine

​@zephyrwargamesyugioh OK, yeah that's a totally fair assessment. I just feel like more ways to Ponix aren't bad, and leaves room for more potent first turns boards. Still, great deck man, I plan on making this version of the deck and this was a great breakdown.

For sure, I just found the sinful bit with the Tribrigade became a little bricky, it can be great in some hands for example Nerval or kit + OSS is crazy good, but then if you open up a route to Ponix and can destroy it to loop it, everything else becomes less reliant. The one change I defo would change would be to add the Flameberg just so you can get more advantage from Ash aswell.

Since you're playing the ash, have you considered playing the flameberg? I would like to see a non-budget version of tribrigade if you could. Also, maybe a future profile with how this deck can function with the new stuff from PHNI would be great!

dont you think adding dogmatika engine is a solid option for a budget? i think it does kinda good, of course WANTED w sinful spoils complete engine is way more valid but god if its an utopia

The dogmatika version is good, but the synergy that the tribrigades provide is much better imo, and as mentioned the tribirgade engine can provide better control, follow up and aggression then Dogmatika imo.

since Kit can send you anything you want: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5Ddq56fpd2IfdU you might consider adding 1 copy of: Tri-Brigade Oath because you are able to summon Kirin in your and by destroying the other Tri-Brigade you add with Nervall (of course it needs to be either Fraktall or Kit because of being fire) and then you succesfully have on board one of each type to negate a Spell/Trap from your opponent :)

It probs should be 2 Kirin and 3 Garunix, or tbh even maybe 1 fire king Island, just through testing didn't feel like you need to max on all of them as they are very easily searchable and Garunix can reoccur easily from GY
