the saddest thing is infernobles could easily get into that $50 price range if konami had managed their reprints properly. heritage of the chalice not having a print in 4 years and artorigus coming on a decade while they're out here reprinting horn of oliphant and borz in tournament packs is just a middle finger to the players.

As a heads up, Armored XYZ comes in the next MAZE set. You kinda have to run 2 Full Armored XYZ atm if you want to resolve both Entrust and a 1 mat Fortress to get to the new Full Armored guy. It's also only a little bit more awkward going 2nd without the spell but it's still putting up double Toad boards.

It's dumb that they didn't just print it in AGOV with the rest of the support but what really matters is that the new Full Armor XYZ can loop XYZ Remora for some degenerate stuff. Also the full armored trap isn't opt so leaving 2 bahamut sharks on the field with 2 traps makes F0:UDF anyways

I won locals with TG on Sunday and got the qtr little knight cuz of winning so imma say the new stuff by themselves eh. But combined with some other stuff it’s pretty decent. 6 rounds went 5-0-1. Obviously I understand all locals are different etc but for our locals it’s pretty straight meta only anything else is frowned upon

Alright so my locals is one of those: Draw, Standby, Enter Main. Locations, I even know someone that went up against the world champ. With that I still topped (not won, but that could just be me) with a combination of Rikka and traptrix. They naturally fix each others problem with only issue is remembering when you're locked to plants only. Though the deck did cost over $100 thanks to some bigger staples (looking at you thrust, talents and droplet) but they're not needed/cheaper now

Red Dragon Archfiend is an incredibly good deck right now, but Dis Pater is a mandatory upgrade. You gotta bite that bullet even as a budget player as it dramatically raises the power ceiling and is used in pretty much every optimal combo line. It's pretty frail going second into a lot of interactions, and you're given a lot of free wins because people don't know where to use their interactions against you that you shouldn't be winning against a more aware opponent, but that applies to a lot of decks in T2 or lower right now so it's hardly an exclusive or disqualifying issue.

Deck for sure feels good. I really wish there were just more options out there for dark dragon synchros, given the restrictions you have with crimson resonator and bone archfiend. Like some real fun or goofy tech options in the extra deck

Ignister Really good if played with....... FIRE PRISON because the only ways to out the arrival are goddess, battle and kaijus. Fire prison completely prevents Goddess and Battle while rivalry Stops kaijus so W !!!!!

I, for once, am glad Pendulums won't do as good in the TCG as they are doing in the OCG... Cause I'm a one trick Pendulum player and getting another card on the banlist would shatter my soul into a million pieces. Thankfully, without Electrumite and SKD Starving Venom, Magicians don't have access to as many nasty combos as the OCG does (which is what is keeping them relevant in that side) Thanks for the amazing video as always!

The problem is blackwing is Not budget you need pots baronne dis pater accelsynchron stardust bystials etc. Its absolutly one of the best rouge Decks now but too expensive When IT goes cheaper its devently top3

to be honest, you don't need any pots nor baronne nor the stardust / accel synchros. I went top 64 on the brazilian nats with a pure blackwing build. No kali yuga combo either. The deck is not simple to play, though, and it REQUIRES lots of practice to understand the best combo and interactions. Adding baronne, the stardust combo and even crimson dragon to go for calamity is a possibility and does elevate the ceiling of the deck, but are absolutely not required.

Tistina is definitely better than that, I would put it somewhere between "takes a good pilot" and "mad potential", as they can annoy your opponent so damn much and shut their plays down, while also being able to OTK easily. They definitely have their struggles, but I 100% think it's not a bad deck right now.

This is what I believe is traptrix’s problem: its engine is incapable of going second. Not only do they not have in archetypal removal for going second, but they need a specific hand to otk even on an open board going second. There’s a lot of going 2nd engines that work like kaiju and fenrir, but winning going second is a matter of drawing the out.

Very nice list as always How do you see witchcrafter? I was thinking about building a witchcrafter deck to play against my friends because I have so much fun with it online and the main deck is around 36 euros including a little of pricier cards like ash or extrav. but I don't really know how good it is in the meta (and in all honesty, I doubt it's any good)

its better played as mathmech focus with the code talkers as extenders and honestly with the amount of tops mathmech gets it could go higher, that said the code talkers can still play through interruption, you just need to hard draw diameter to reliably play through nib

Search up Budget Duelist on YT. He's got all sorts of cool decks that are really cheap to build. If you want actual budget decks, he's your go to for that. 100 is a good starting point as a budget player but you can go lower or higher depending on what staples you buy/deck you choose. Dinos can roughly be built around the 40-60 dollar range Extra Deck included. Wild Survivors reprinted the core cards you need to play. You don't need the Ground Xeno, way too expensive wait for the reprint. You still lose to the same shit standard Dinos (combos do look cooler tho) Keep in mind you can slowly build up from a budget level and upgrade from there. If you don't like long combos, Traptrix ans Altergiests are decent control decks to start off with.

DDD extra is too tight in my opinion. Also, most routes fiend/ddd lock and they already have a lot of main deck options to extend towards otk or through handtraps.

I have a theory about yugioh formats: 1. Hantrap Formats: hantraps are an invaluable non engine piece. This causes a rise in the use of talents cards. 2. Board Breaker Format: certain combo formats make board breakers the most valuable non engine. Handtraps aren’t used because they’re not at impactful. Some of the top decks see success without handtraps in this format, and talents cards are very prevalent as anti handtrap cards and board breakers. Cyberse decks rely on handtraps, even ones with a towers endboard, so I think it’s a difficult format for those decks.

With the recent reprints, what do you think of the viability for a $50-$100 Salamangreat deck? Gazelle is at 3 now, and the reprints for it and Circle make me think it has potential at a lower point while you save up to buy the bigger cards for it.

People go 5-4 in regionals and stuff with @ignister and often times if you really want to push your strategy you will eventually find a way and be the surprise locals top with your trusty deck.

Meizen and Getsuga OTKs are fking nova to pull off in Ninjas. Remember tier lists are just opinions. Don't switch decks. Practice, get good at the deck, big brain or no, and upgrade the fuck out of it when you can. 🥷 Ninjas catch ppl off guard. Gonna build them myself one day.
