Branded doesn't need expensive staples, all cards non engine are cheap. Many people also have staples from ra01 and 2, it's doesn't need thrust to keep up though it helps it's not NEEDED

The worst dream of Dinomorphia is Yubel's Nightmare Pain. There are cards that can get rid of it before it can activate its first effect (Sonic, Judgement and Thunder), its second effect (Storm Duster, Brute) and also get rid of Yubel reflect ability if you time them properly (Intact). This deck can search normal trap cards (Labrynth package, Track, Trick, Blue Tears, Lament) to find the forementioned solutions.

Floo had its worst days when perulia got released. Everyone said floo is dead because of this. Perulia means a +3 for the opponent. Now fuwalos came out in it can be more than a +3 for all other decks. Theoretical floo got better since other decks got worse (assuming you use fuwalos in floo going second). And there is one thing: You want to counter mulcharmys? Build your deck going second. And floo is more consistent going second (since drawing 6 cards instead of 5, that counts for all decks btw). It's harder to play into a board, but you can use shifter, dark ruler and evenly. The rule of thumb for mulcharmy format: Build your main more for going second but also going first and your side strictly for going second. What do you think, cali?

Since the Red-Eyes archetype is associated with Joey Wheeler, I definitely ask that it should be an Equip deck (possibly Equip/Fusion). It could be made to synergize with Flame Swordsman and with warrior support in general. And my personal favorite deck in Yugioh is Infernoble Knights. I wish they were more aggressive, but Flame Swordsman covers that, and Red-Eyes could fill in the gaps.

What you actually should get for a Red-Eyes deck is actually two series/archetypes that are featured in ROTA; Primite and Metalmorph. Primite gives Red-Eyes some great normal monsters support for the vanilla Red-Eyes, which helps enable your Rank 7 Xyz Summons, like Flare Metal, and Metalmorph gives it some really powerful boss monsters, as well as another easy to get out level 7 monster to further enable rank 7 plays. I think it's kind of crazy that people are sleeping on these cards.

@@FruityGroovy I'd mostly disagree on the basis that I am just seeing Red-Eyes through the lens of it being a Joey Wheeler card so making it synergize with Warriors would be ideal to me. Rush Duels also have Red-Eyes cards that seem to be pretty good and is the basis for a Fusion-based archetype. I still think that the idea of Red-Eyes Slash Dragon (my favorite Red-Eyes Fusion) was a good beginning concept, and they could do something great with that.

As a floo player, weve had to adjust strategies to win. For me, I play a going second build utilizing Soul Exchange, Slayer and Evenly. Plus using the counter trap as a turn skip is something no one sees coming bc they forgot it exists

Here's the thing with Red-Eyes post ROTA; the strategy you want to focus on is the burn strategy, since it's now able to get out its best burn monsters out much faster and easier than ever before, and the best two series of cards to put into Red-Eyes literally comes from ROTA; Primite and the Metalmorph retrains. It gives you Fullmetal, it can get you three Flare Metals for that burn tax, it gives you protections, effect negations, summon negations, banishment, easy special summons for your vanilla Red-Eyes, and in terms of fusions, you only focus on two; either Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon, or Meteor Black Comet Dragon if you just want that quick burn to end the game. All these cards are very cheap to get right now, it's a good burn strategy, and with more Primite and Metalmorph support announced, it's a Solid Choice for a player with a budget.

I appreciate you putting some respect on the wasps. I actually took 5th out of 14th this past Saturday. Came close to 3-1, but couldn't quite get the run back in game 3 against Chimera Horus Fiendsmith. And round 4 was against Centurion-Sinful-Azamina-White Forest...not fun lol. Small Beetrooper engine but otherwise, Battlewasp Wind was phenomenal. And Insect Invitation was straight up fantastic. Super poly their board into Ultimate Hercules is satisfying while having a full board. TLDR: Insects are cookin' and Battlewasps are not to be underestimated.

funny stuff: i ended 5-3 with swordsoul in a regional in my country (Argentina) with 171 players, being my position 43th, 1 month ago. I defeated 3 of the meta decks at the moment (Tenpai, Snake-Eye/Fiendsmith/Melodious and White Forest/Horus). and after the Ryu-Ge archetype and new Tenyi support, i can't be more hyped.

Something been noticing about Swordsoul is a lot of people main deck Ecclesia the Virtuous but it isn't something you can reveal for your effects. Its really only good going 2nd when you can use Moye and the other Swordsoul lv.4 in the same turn because you got to special summon Ecclesia with its effects. It might be worth side decking for when you know your going 2nd instead of just running it anyways.

Yay exosisters are back in the takes a really good pilot tier! Despite the deck being very fragile to 1 or 2 interruptions, it can pull of some crazy plays when handled correctly by a good player. I myself had some nice wins with the deck at locals. Still gonna play it for awhile, until it lasts.

Thoughts on the video: I agree with most of these placements but here are the few that I disagree with: Metal morph: so not exactly metal morph (pure metal morph/red eyes), if we’re talking about dragon link metal morph then id say it’s in solid choice close to top budget. Swordsoul: now this is basically my take on the new support for tenyi; it’s crazy… no other words are needed, the new cards are amazing and allows for so many new plays. I’d put it in solid choice. Vanquish soul: personally I think Cali is coping here. Just because Fuwaross doesn’t do much against the deck doesn’t mean the deck is good. Also the deck really doesn’t do much unfortunately, I wish it did but this is what we’re stuck with until it gets more support. Ice jade: interesting? Definitely has potential and I wouldn’t say cali’s coping but I wouldn’t put it in solid choice just because it plays into a lot of the cards that are popular right now. Maybe in a different format. Beetrooper: I would love this to be in solid choice and even border line, but it’s just such a complex deck that you need to really know how to use the deck properly and efficiently. Also the new support locks you out of the ragnaraika stuff so you can’t do that. It’s either beetrooper or ragnaraika, which I will say I think ragnaraika is still the better deck. Memento: ok ok I get it, this deck is cutting it close on the budget area but the core is actually under 100 dollars. All you need are the 3 bone party and angwitch and the rest is pretty cheap. The best thing is it’s a deck that can get better as you continue to add more cards. The only cards I’ll say you should definitely get that aren’t memento cards are an I:P and cross sheep, those two cards are the bread and butter of pure endboards. I would definitely say this deck is in the top rogue decks, due to the way it plays around fuwaross, the versatility the almost infinite 2 card combos. I’ll just say it I love memento and you don’t need to dump hundreds of dollars in order to play it with the fiendsmith stuff in order to make it goos

I'm not sure if anyone else has been experiencing this, Cali, but I just opened a box of ROTA and I had 2 packs missing one card each. I found one pack that had 10 with 2 Ultras but the other pack was missing the card. While I was still at the shop, they got a call from someone with a similar problem. I can't find anyone talking about it and I feel like it should maybe be addressed.

Hey cali thank you for posting this list and I appreciate you making your lists it's at many times contain good suggestions also just asking but why do hate gimmick puppet a bunch as a gimmick puppet player I've gone to a quite few tournaments facing against meta decks and I've come so close to winning the round most of the time the over all support is broken and I know about the ban but even though that happened if I'm able to get the field spell up then it is crazy to stop the burn train plus just keep the new boss in its ranked up form then you got a interruption and burn so if not first turn then next turn but still cali I sincerely thank you for your videos your a very good and funny youtuber and great channel over all 😅🎉😮🎉 also just saying as something you could try is make gouki I mean gouki can have lots of variety I mean you can run a altergeist engine in it 😉 😀 just saying have a good day or night 🌙

Tbh bro I have had zero issues playing Scareclaw in masterduel or in omega. Everyone swear the deck sucks but i stay shiting on people constantly with it. You cant play just straight up scareclaw but it can have the adventure engine in it or the visa mannadium engine and it works great.

2-3x Nova will hurt your wallet. The new support from INFO+Eva going to 1 saw Nova skyrocket in price. Outside of Nova yes the deck is affordable.
