@@0doge632 The reason they're not as crazy as expected (although they're still insanely good) is simply because they can't disrupt the first turn of the game when you're going second. Keep in-mind though they're still incredibly strong and their usage still utterly dominates tournament decklists.

Thats absolutely untrue, the standard pure zoo lists that topped and actually made it to finals were just making either drident or UDF. The all sorts of shenanigans were literally at best standard zoo plays to otk with vespenato. Pure zoo is not a make a board deck, its zeus control with a million techs, and it is absolutely enough to be the best deck both in a traditional format and in high power level formats like we had in the tcg and ocg not even a year ago when pure zoo was the best deck.

I would say (without testing it beforehand) that the best possible unrestricted deck would be Orcust + Zoodiac Package + Handloop (using orcust for Topologic Gumblar and triple delinquent duo) OR Monarch FTK with 3 Pot of Greed, 3 Graceful Charity, 3 Upstart, 3 Chicken Game, 3 Terraforming, 3 Pseudo-Space, 3 One Day of Peace and 3 Into the Void

Tempest FTK is actually bonkers. Konami banned tempest before Selene came out because they knew it would be dumb as hell. Still kinda high roll but what ftk isn’t. I would play six samurais. Peak samurais can make basically whatever board you want, so if u have 3 gateway 3 upstart 3 called by etc etc that deck just becomes too consistent. Still loses to dark ruler but that's about it, if u wanna pitch ur whole hand with droplet go ahead...

@@rhystictomato5635 I play with these rules for fun on EDOpro all the time. Your odds of drawing board breaking cards like dark ruler, droplet and evenly are nearly guaranteed. It changes the goal of the 1st turn end board from pump out negates to deckbuild such that I can diversify my interactions between monsters traps and hand traps to play around the guaranteed outs the opponent has to whatever I make. It makes the game far more interactive and enjoyable.
