hey synchro was a cool way with fusion but i hate xyz and pendelum becouse special summon from everywhere 5 monsters in turn one with high attack good effects and everything synchros are not that fast becouse you may need the perfect tuner and a non tuner and bettertimes u just need a random tuner monster not a special one

im 28, back in the day we used to buy different starter decks, combine them and make a powerful deck(for the time) is not like today's game that you buy 3 structure decks and is gg izi. great video as always.

Outside of a couple structure decks. Putting three together won't get you anywhere. And even then, putting those that do make competitive decks together, you're still lacking essential cards to make it competitive.

i remembering getting home from my first day of kindergarten me and my old brother and we arrived home and the original 2 decks kaibas and yugis were sitting on the table knowing i wanted yugis we both got our preferred choice and i remember playing out in the backyard and it was hot and i put my deck in my pocket and threw my pants in the laundry with my deck inside it and all i remember was going back outside not thinking anything of it and my dad washed the pants ruining the first deck i ever had 100% my fault but the thought of seeing you open this deck brings back such great memories

Man I remember when I was moving to a new place cause my dad was in the military and we stayed at my aunts place. My dad bought me and my brothers, starter decks and I got that same starter deck. The Nostalgia is hitting me so hard. One question: Back in 2002 when you got Summoned Skull, it didn't have the text "this card is always treated as an archfiend". So how come when you get a Yugi starter deck that isn't from 2002, it includes the aforementioned text in the Summoned skull card?

In Japan it was clearly named as a Demon card (I think it was called "Summoned Demon"), which is what the Archfiend cards are called in Japan, that line was added to future prints to let players know that Summoned Skull is part of the Archfiend archetype and works with all of Archfiend support cards.

The first duel I ever played, back when I was like 10 years old, was using a Kaiba starter deck against a friend using a Yugi starter deck. And I did get Blue Eyes out and crush him. I think at them time only LOB and Metal Raiders were out and I remember the excitement of finding Magic Ruler in stores on day and getting my first ritual monsters.

I still have the blue eyes Kaiba starter deck, though most of the cards started fading even though they were in card sleeves. They look like the color or tint was adjusted and the star levels are yellowing and loao,g their orange. My Tri-horn dragon is doing the same.

I remember buying this and the Kaiba deck and sticking all the monsters with 1800 or more attack in one deck and summoned them without tributing like the show. "Cheating...? I'm playing just like on the show. Why would the show and the actual balanced game be different??!" Innocent times.
