Cool Video, like most of your deck profiles! Keep up the great work :) One thought: As a Main Paleo Frog Demise player for a long time on regional level I also feel like Pot of Desires can be a pain in some games, other than Card of Demise. As you are playing a heavy backrow I can't tell how much games I've won because of that additional 3 cards in my hand. Reckless Greed is probably less restrictive but also very slow. Keep in mind that going second without much handtraps you will likely come into situations where you just getting OTKed before you can benefit from Reckless Greed. With this build I would consider Card of Demise in the Side Deck for 2./3. game. Just as an addition to your explanation playing without Spells ;)

hey man i love the new flare on the side bar. just a little suggestion. Idk how easy it would be to film, but just kinda have the cards off to the side and cut off part of the mat instead of warping the deck profile image. Definitely takes a little more set up and you have to be careful not to put them what would eventually be off screen. I just think it might look a little bit cleaner. Thanks for all the great content Cali. Love everything you do!

Do you think there is any potential for combining the new monarch support with paleo frogs and creating a worthwhile deck? I think with this you need to tailor the build to hate on whatever's meta in your area. Alot of sky striker - add anti spell and gozen. Gouki/danger gozen -and summon limit. Thunder dragons - dimension barrier

Awesome Deck Profile, I'm going to test this build. Reckless Greed is a good tech. You're build is actually better because than third place build because mainly because you play more consistent as well as it can otk easier.

You can actually activate Paleozoic Hallucigenia during the Damage Step before Damage Calculation (but you can’t chain another Paleozoic from Grave during that Damage Step) which makes the card really stupidly broken in my opinion.

main a starlight road and a stardust in the extra deck... you can grab it with trap trick it stops twin twister andwhen your opponent is setting up for multi destruction you can trap trick road and they have to waste mad recources or change here plan all together to play around it lol

It doesn't stop Twin Twister because A: If you activate it preemptively they'll use it for 1 B: If you chain it to Trap Trick you wont be able to use SLR in that same chain.

its just meant to be a staller not all cards you can just choose to destroy 1 lol if you know they are about to exiton knight you can trap trick into starlight and they will have to get rid of that instead. just one example and the second part i know you cant chain it its not about the chain lol its the same reason i run 1 magic cylinder and side it out games 2 and 3. it completely changes the way your opponent plays thinking there gonna lose to something as stupid as magic cylinder lol its psychology xD

I actually play Two Pot Of Desires in my Paleozoic build, cus I do play a total of 42 cards in my deck, but also because I can usually get out a Toadally Awesome that same turn. The it's subjective as to the choice of Pot Of Desires, Reckless Greed, Pot Of Duality or Card Of Demise. Pot Of Desires banishes ur shit, but can get u alot of first turn plays. Reckless Greed is slow as shit and takes up ur field space and doesn't really help stop ur opponent, but can get u a full arsenal for the 3rd turn which speaking of, going 2nd with these cards is just super terrible... Pot Of Duality gets u that one card, but it stops u from special summoning and it's just meh... Card of Demise is good, but I do play three Ashes in my build, so Card Of Demise tends to fuck that up for me. If a new Hand Trap, trap card came out that was good, I'd use it, but like for now Card Of Demise is just not for me, also if I draw the frogs and shit, I can't special summon Swap or Toadally Awesome, so yeah, Card Of Demise tends to slow me down, yeah, it can give me a bigger hand, but I feel first turn, Card of Demise sucks, cus ur gonna set like 4 or five cards and draw to to three cards for nothing. 😕 Card of Demise is just better for the climax or late game or at least the 3rd turn, and more than likely, ur gonna run three of em' and u just don't wanna see two of these in the same hand.

Nah, not really. I play a third Dinomischus instead. One could argue that even Leanchoilia and Hallucigena aren't necessary but they helped me more often than not.

Doesn't having two Dupes make a soft lock where your opponent can't attack at all? Since they say "Monsters your opponent controls cannot target monsters for attacks, except this one". Demise is very polarizing. Some use it, some don't. I'm not a fan. You want to make Toadally Awesome as soon as possible and Demise prevents you from special summoning that turn. Demise also makes Dinomischus less usable since it leaves you with no hand after using it.

What about that Draw 2 Spell that keeps you from playing any other spell that turn?? You could do 3x of it for draw power. 😄 Swap Frog should send Dupe/Ronin each time. The summon from Toadally should be Swap so you can send another Dupe/Ronin. That's how I do it, anyway, just to help thin the deck down and setup more Ronintoadin plays. 😄

Dupe in deck is important for protecting Toad. Used to do it myself, but it requires a bit more finesse.
