I have to chime in again. So on your last test hand, on the Umastryx special summon, he must be face up when special summoned. What you could do after that is flip the final battle on guru, get a search off him, and now you have guru and Umastryx face up so the book of moon from guru is live.

I too am interested in that build, I love crusadia and the new guardragons card seem awesome in the deck. Ive seen other deck profiles but i want to see Cali view of it

@@L0ztZ0ld13r i agree. Cali always makes deck profiles lit. Lol but as a crusadia player. As much as the guard dragon build can do it just seems so fragile. I mean crusadia has always been somewhat fragile but at least with pure crusadia there are a lot of cards that you can play that make it so your monsters can't get disrupted.

@@kindagoofy585 I agree with you, but also pure crusadia is a deck that needs to go second most of the time to be able to really shine with Guard Dragon crusadia can go first and make a good disruption board :) but still I do know what you mean and thats why I want to see Cali view of that version of the deck

@@L0ztZ0ld13r i don't agree with that. The build that every body and their mother plays needs to go second but you can side deck stuff to play first. There are some nice techs that change the deck a lot and it can go first or second with some builds. People just need to think about possibilities for decks instead of just blindly following the trend. Yes these net deck builds are tried and proven and are usually good but i am sorry half of the time i think my builds are better. I just haven't been able to attend a big event to prove it.

OK so budget strategy, dd crow, skull meister, and ghost reaper(since most extra deck cards right now are easy and cheap to access ghost reaper wins games alone sometimes), the best part of these "dark" monsters is allure of darkness is usable in this deck if pot of extravagance is too much for you. Also, you can run summoner monk for another way to summon guru if you run a lot of spells.

hidden city can negate the attack so if they attack like a facedown umastrix you can activate the hidden city then flip it faceup in attack possision and then like give umastrix like a 2700 atk bonus from final battle, and bannish 1 other monster they control

I made a salamangreat, time thief deck. Salamangreats are just filled with 1 card shenanigans, you're always going off & regulator fits the theme of 1 card shenanigans nicely.

You could run Subterror Volltureic and because his effect activates in hand and hes a THUNDER you can make Thunder Dragon Colossus. Its actually not a bad combo and it's easy to get into

Hey, 19:17 you cannot special summon because of pot of duality ;) I'm waiting for looong time for that Guru to come in the TCG and I'll certainly try my own subterror deck at my locals 😋 BTW keep up the great work, loving your videos dude

Not going to search the comments, but I've won 36/38 matched on Ygopro, and a Ranked Match + 1 Ranked game also That being said, I highly recommend playing 3 Final battle. Being able to pop Guru ( For fiendess ) or Umastyrx face-up on your opponents turn ( To banish ), then use a 2nd one to negate your opponent from negating your effect, and still having one to raise your attack or defense for a cheeky kill when the enemy attacks, is way too damn powerful. I don't even play Cave Class *shrug* but it is a great card Funny thing is, I think I'f they limited Final Battle to 1, the deck would be garbage, or at the very least, real fricken slow Also, I wouldn't use Gozen match. Awesome floodgate, but MOST, not all, most, decks run the same attribute for the main cards. "There Can only Be One" is super sick though Highly Highly Highly Recommend 3x Called by the Grave. Holy crap in today's meta, this card is just way to strong! TGC Deck List ( My Version, can be found in other videos too but this is the one I use. 36+ wins with 2 losses ) 3x Guru 3x Fiendess 2x Archer 1x Umastyx 3x Ash Blossom 1x Ghost Ogre 3x Pot of Extravagence 3x Pot of Duality 3x Called by the grave 2x Terraforming 3x The Hidden City 3x Impermanence ( I run Effect Veiler IRL sadly ) 3x Final Battle 2x There Can Only Be One ( Super Strong, Was running 3, and it's doable, but slightly bricky ) 3x Solemn Strike 1x Warning 1x Judgement Extra Deck is so unused it can be anything Some people use Instant Fusion in their MD and run Megafleet, Colossus, Starving Venom, Violet Chimera, MudballMan, and Predapllant Chimera with some randoms. But I've done so well, I just recommend not running Instant Fusion

Its better to not play nemesis ,but 2 umastryx cause the second effet of guru can special umastryx from hand directly during the opponunt turn too , and having guru always in the field its way bette than graveyard :)

hey cali, i usually plays my subterror deck with winter cherries, and playing in extra deck all common cards in other extra decks, cause you only play one monter and you dont use the extra, so you always can ban their isolde or their summon sorceres,, or even their borrel cards, you dont need so i think is a good choice for main deck, and you control only one monster so you can activate cherries like always, what do you think, sorry for my english but im from spain xD

Not sure about warrior. Even in pure before guru i played him at 2 i believe. Totally agree with double archer. People crapped on her when the earth king got banned but a mystic tomato for the entire archetype is great. Im running veilers and ogres cause I have a negative budget. Also 3 final battle because desires sucks but cant do almost 300 for extravagance

Ghost belle is easily replaceable with dd crow. Ghost belle Is generally better, but dd crow permanently removes threats from the grave.
